Charbonnet (foot) was listed as full on Monday's estimated injury report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Charbonnet didn't practice last week due to a foot injury that left him listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints. He predictably was included among the Seahawks' inactives for Week 3, but his estimated activity level Monday indicates that he's on pace to return to action Thursday at Arizona. Ultimately, Wednesday's practice report will reveal whether or not Charbonnet has a designation for that contest, but if he returns to action, he'll likely resume his timeshare with Kenneth Walker out of Seattle's backfield.

Charbonnet (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Given that Charbonnet didn't practice this week due to a foot injury that left him doubtful to suit up Week 3, his lack of availability doesn't come as a surprise. The Seahawks have a short turnaround Week 4 with a visit to the Cardinals on tap Thursday, so there's a chance he's in line for a multi-game absence. In the meantime, Kenneth Walker is set to be a workhorse out of Seattle's backfield, while George Holani and undrafted rookie Jacardia Wright are the options behind him.

Charbonnet (foot) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against New Orleans, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kenneth Walker thus projects for a huge workload in a game the Seahawks are heavily favored to win. Third-stringer George Holani should also get some playing time Sunday, with either Damien Martinez or Jacardia Wright potentially called up from the practice squad. Charbonnet didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and doesn't seem likely to do much, if anything, Friday. The schedule does him no favors here, with Seattle's next game coming just four days later, Thursday night at Arizona.

Charbonnet (foot) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Charbonnet has been held out of drills so far this week due to a foot injury, so Friday's practice likely will be key for his odds to suit up Sunday against the Saints. If Charbonnet is limited or sidelined this weekend, Kenneth Walker would take on the bulk of the work afforded the Seahawks backfield, while George Holani is the only other RB on the active roster, while Damien Martinez and Jacardia Wright would be candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.

Charbonnet didn't practice Wednesday due to a foot injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Charbonnet played a shade more than 50 percent of the offensive snaps in both of the Seahawks' first two games of the season, accounting for 27 carries for 57 yards and one touchdown and not being targeted. Meanwhile, fellow RB Kenneth Walker was capped at a 40 percent share in both contests but churned out 142 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 27 touches. If Charbonnet's new health concern impacts his game-day workload or even sidelines him, Walker would be in line for a significant boost in snaps and touches.

Charbonnet rushed 15 times for 10 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Charbonnet was outplayed by Kenneth Walker, who turned 14 touches into 118 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. The 2022 and 2023 second-round draft picks have been deployed in a near-even split to begin the 2025 campaign. Seattle will likely continue to ride the hot hand in Week 3 against the Saints, though the workload could start to shift away from Charbonnet if Walker continues to outplay him.

Charbonnet took 12 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks opened the 2025 season splitting backfield work between Kenneth Walker and Charbonnet. The latter wound up cashing in Seattle's lone rushing touchdown and finishing with the superior fantasy score. Charbonnet already showed us that he can handle an expanded role while filling in for Walker last season, so we could be witnessing the torch being passed to the younger option. Charbonnet provides more fantasy upside over Walker in a timeshare due to his durability and work in the passing game (52 targets in 2024).

Charbonnet took five carries for 45 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 33-16 preseason win over Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Charbonnet made his preseason debut with the first-team offense as Kenneth Walker is eased back from a minor foot injury. The 24-year-old Charbonnet looked good in the starting role Friday, which was a common theme when he would take over for Walker at times last season. Charbonnet figures to continue operating in the "1B" role when Walker is healthy this upcoming season, although rumblings of a potential timeshare have been brewing in camp.

Charbonnet is pushing for a timeshare in the backfield with Kenneth Walker in 2025, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Charbonnet doesn't match Walker's explosiveness or big-play ability, the former showed he can handle the starting duties when called upon. When Walker missed six games last season, Charbonnet tallied 91 carries for 433 yards (4.8 YPC) and six touchdowns while adding 19 receptions (on 23 targets) for 169 yards. The coaches have been cautious with Walker during training camp to keep him healthy, and using Charbonnet more regularly during the season could help keep Walker upright. The Seahawks' scheme may focus more on the run this year, too, meaning there could be enough carries to make both players fantasy viable. Charbonnet should be considered one of the league's top No. 2 backs regardless. Head coach Mike Macdonald said that the starters won't play in Thursday's preseason game versus the Raiders, and it remains to be seen if that will extend to Charbonnet.

Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker give Seattle backfield continuity in an otherwise revamped offense, ESPN.com's Brady Henderson reports.
EDGE Analysis
Offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, QB Geno Smith, and WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are out, replaced by Klint Kubiak, Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, respectively. Seattle's backfield, on the other hand, looks the same as last year, with Walker and Charbonnet atop the depth chart while Kenny McIntosh fends off competition for the No. 3 job. There have been some beat-writer whispers about Charbonnet potentially challenging Walker for the starting job under a new coaching staff, although nobody from the Seahawks has said anything to that effect.
