William Moore is entrenched as the Falcons' starting strong safety and finally fully healthy after an injury-plagued first three NFL seasons. Moore has racked up seven picks and three forced fumbles over the past two seasons despite the injuries, and he may be poised for a breakout campaign in a contract season. "He looks good this offseason," DBs coach Tim Lewis said. "He's ready to roll. ... You'll see him more often that you have in the past."

Falcons SS William Moore left Sunday's Wild Card round game with a groin injury. He was deemed "questionable" to return, but has battled groin and quadriceps injuries all season. Due to health reasons, Moore has been Atlanta's third safety behind FS Thomas DeCoud and SS James Sanders for most of the year.

Falcons SS William Moore (quadriceps, groin) has been active for, but not played in each of Atlanta's last two games. James Sanders has been starting at strong safety. Moore was struggling mightily before the injuries, so it's also possible he's been benched for performance. "William has been coming back from a quadriceps and groin," coach Mike Smith said. "We hope that we get him back and ready to go. ... You have to be very careful when you are dealing with two major muscle groups."
