Davis' (undisclosed) stock is rising after solid performances in the preseason and training camp, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis missed a practice early in August with an undisclosed injury, but he appears fully recovered from whatever kept him out. He's a favorite to land a spot on the back end of the Ravens' secondary depth chart.

Davis (undisclosed) did not practice Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a torn ACL suffered last October, Davis was somewhat-surprisingly not placed on the Ravens' PUP list to begin training camp. Assuming he hasn't re-aggravated the injury, when healthy, Davis should be set to compete for the nickelback role he quickly earned in the Ravens' secondary after being acquired from the Dolphins last September.

Davis (knee) ran at close to full speed during last weeks OTA, The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Traded from Miami to Baltimore in September in exchange for a late-round draft pick, Davis served as the Ravens' nickelback before tearing an ACL for the second time in two years. Given the shaky state of Baltimore's depth chart at cornerback, Davis could compete with the likes of Shareece Wright and Jerraud Powers for the starting job across from Jimmy Smith (foot). Davis will be 11 months removed from suffering the injury when Week 1 rolls around.

Davis (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired from the Dolphins in exchange for a late-round draft pick just a few weeks ago, Davis quickly emerged as the nickelback for a corner-needy Baltimore defense. The former third-round draft pick initially acquitted himself well, only to suffer a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Browns. With Lardarius Webb (undisclosed) also injured during the game, Baltimore was shredded by Josh McCown.

Davis suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's game against the Browns, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was acquired via trade from the Dolphins last month and fared pretty well upon arriving in Baltimore, but will now be lost for the season given the extent of his knee injury. With Davis sidelined, Baltimore is left to deal with yet another significant injury blow, opening reps for the likes of Kyle Arrington, Tray Walker and Rashaan Melvin in the Ravens' cornerback rotation.

Davis has been traded from the Dolphins to the Ravens in exchange for a late-round draft pick, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis, who the Dolphins made the 93rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, will bolster the Ravens' depth at safety, though with just 25 NFL tackles to his name to date, he's off the IDP radar for now.

Davis was not traded and will remain on the Dolphins for the time being, according to the Miami Herald.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has been rumored to be on the trade block for a couple of weeks but his inclusion on the Dolphins initial 53-man roster would seem to indicate that Miami couldn't get the return they wanted.

Davis (knee) has been participating in 11-on-11 drills, the Miami Herald reports. Despite suffering a torn ACL in November, the 25-year-old Davis is seemingly on track to be ready for training camp. A third-round selection in 2013, he could compete for a starting job at cornerback, with Brent Grimes seemingly Miami's only locked-in contributor at the position.

Davis (knee) will be placed on injured reserve Friday and will miss the remainder of the season with what is believed to be a torn ACL, James Walker of ESPN reports. Davis contributed mostly on special teams, but also saw the field on some sub packages. The team is already thin at cornerback with Cortland Finnegan dealing with a knee issue of his own, but now will likely need to add either someone from the practice squad or a free agent.
