For 256 young men, their dream has finally come true--to be drafted and admitted into the exclusive club of NFL players! Need me to jog your memory? How about the likes of Kurt Warner, James Harrison, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker just to name a few great players that started from the bottom. So, who's next? In this articl[...]

Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks on the Giants’ Radar rotoballer.com Tue 9/29/15 10:06 AM

This article references A, Buffalo Bills, C, Cruz, Eli Manning, Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants, Odell Beckham, OF, Rueben Randle, SP, SS, TE, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker and more! The New York Giants must not feel 100 percent comfortable with the fact that Victor Cruz is expected back for week 4. According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the team has scheduled workouts with wide receivers Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks. It seems unlikely that the team would sign either man until they get to see out effective Cruz is when he returns to action on Sunday against a tough Buffalo Bills defense. Even without Cruz, the Giants' passing game hasn't been a big problem. Odell Beckham and[...]Keep on reading: Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks on the Giants’ Radar

The Fire Sale - Week 13 fantasysharks.com Tue 11/25/14 9:06 AM

It's Thanksgiving week. This time of year always remindsme of the things I'm thankful for in my life. Trust me, it's a short list, so itdoesn't take me very long. That got me thinking of fantasy players that I'm notthankful for this year. I'm taking a week off to enjoy the holidays and to listthe players who turned out to be big turkeys this year. Happy Thanksgivingeveryone. I hope you all have a great turkey day. Now on with The Fire Sale ... Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit -- Lastweek I called Stafford a blockhead. I said he's always been a blockhead and hewould always be a blockhead. Only a blockhead would slide half a yard short ofa first down. Way to be a leader you blockhead. Toby Gerhart, RB, Jacksonville -- The biggest bust of the 2014 fantasyseason. You had to be an absolute idiot to draft this guy in the third orfourth round to be your RB2. You had to be an even bigger idiot to draft him inall of your leagues. I would love to see the idiot who did something so dumb. It's probably one of those loudmouths who writes a fantasy football column. Youknow the type. Montee Ball, RB, Denver -- I was allin on Ball ever since he was a freshman at Wisconsin. I loved everything abouthim. I was as confident Ball would be a stud as I've been about any call in mylife. Turns out all of a sudden the guy trips over his own two feet. Seriously,he can't run 3 yards without falling down. Oh, and sometimes you have to belucky in fantasy football. In one of my leagues I made a predraft trade to moveup with the intention of selecting Ball. He was taken the pick ahead of me. Iwas fuming. I had to settle for Peyton Manning. Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay -- I predicted Martin would have a bounce backseason in 2014. The only thing he's bouncing is owners who drafted him out ofthe playoffs. I feel like Martin would still be good if he was on another teambut that's probably wrong. I should stop feeling that. Shane Vereen, RB, New England -- I know Vereen is coming on of late, but, let'sbe honest -- if you drafted Vereen, you're disappointed. Vereen was supposed tohave a big year and it hasn't happened. Now he has LeGarrette Blount's big buttback in town to steal short scores. I have a new theory when it comes to NewEngland running backs. I would rather pick one up off the waiver wire thandraft one. Chris Johnson, RB, New York Jets -- It was just a few years ago that Johnsonand Adrian Peterson were battling to be the top running back in the NFL. Nowneither ...
