Williams was spotted with a wrap around his upper leg and hip after practice, Tom Krasovic of the San-Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams, who was unable to play in Saturday's preseason contest against the Titans, has been one of the stars thus far in camp, repeatedly making difficult catches and seemingly earning a bit of a repertoire with quarterback Philip Rivers. While the second-year player was able to take part in Tuesday's practice, his injury will be worth monitoring throughout the preseason as Williams joins a number of receivers vying for additional reps at wide receiver with Stevie Johnson (knee) done for the season.

EDGE Analysis
In particular, Eric Williams of ESPN.com relayed that he viewed Williams icing his quad at the conclusion of Thursday's practice. While the extent of the injury isn't known, the upcoming week of practice will impart the severity of Williams' injury.

Williams has put together an excellent training camp and could be the prime beneficiary of additonal reps at wide receiver with Stevie Johnson (knee) lost for the season, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Competing against the likes of Dontrelle Inman, Javontee Herndon and James Jones, Williams has excelled during practice, improving upon his route-running ability and making difficult catches on a daily basis. With Stevie Johnson sidelined for the year, Williams could be a candidate to line up on the outside opposite Keenan Allen, giving more opportunities for Travis Benjamin to take over in the slot. Williams first opportunity to showcase his talents against a live defense will be Saturday, when the Chargers take on the Titans in the team's first preseason contest.

With Stevie Johnson out for an extended time after suffering a torn meniscus during Sunday's practice, Williams could see additional opportunities at wide receiver, Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams played just one game in his rookie season, catching two passes, including an 80-yard touchdown, in Week 17. The 24-year-old is just one of a handful of younger receivers on the Chargers primed to take the next step in their development, as both Javontee Herndon and Dontrelle Inman flashed signs of productivity in the 2015 season, and could be candidates to take over the No. 3 WR role.

Williams had two receptions on five targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's season-ending loss at Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was promoted from the practice squad earlier this season as the team's wide receiver corps were decimated by injuries, but he did not record a catch until an 80-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter of the final game of the regular season. The experience will be helpful for Williams Heading into 2016, but he figures to have several names ahead of him on the depth chart and a roster spot is certainly not assured.

Williams was promoted from the practice squad Saturday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Chargers have been ravaged by injuries this season and the wide receiver position has been no exception -- one week after losing Keenan Allen for the season, Malcom Floyd tore his shoulder labrum and will likely be hampered by the injury for the remainder of the season. Williams, who actually made the team to start the season, will have an opportunity to earn some targets in what remains of the decimated receiving core. While the aforementioned Floyd, Steve Johnson, Dontrelle Inman, and Javontee Herndon all file in above Williams on the depth chart, the Chargers dynamic -- and persistent -- aerial attack could open up a few opportunities for the undrafted rookie to make a name for himself.

Williams was waived by the Chargers on Saturday, Eric Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The undrafted rookie flashed enough potential in training camp and the preseason to earn a berth on the 53-man roster spot, but became expendable after the Chargers elected to add a safety in advance of their Week 2 game against the Bengals. The Chargers are likely hoping to stash Williams on their practice squad if he clears waivers.
