Despite previous reports indicating he intended to play during the 2016 season, Varga has now changed his mind and will hang up the cleats, as he doesn't want to risk his future health any further. "It comes down to this: I'm back here because I want to compete again," Varga declared. Unfortunately for Varga, though, he won't be competing against an injured Dan Herron and Vick Ballard this time around. Instead, he'll be squaring off with Robert Turbin, Jordan Todman, Trey Williams and rookie Josh Ferguson for a role behind the incumbent starter, Frank Gore.
