Higbee, who missed the Rams' Super Bowl LVI win over the Bengals due to an MCL injury, has been participating in training camp, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Now that he's moved past his knee issue, Higbee -- who recorded 61 catches (on 85 targets) for 560 yards and five TDs in 15 regular-season games in 2021 -- is set to reprise his role as the Rams' clear-cut No. 1 pass-catching tight end. As long as he can stay healthy, Higbee should see steady enough targets from QB Matthew Stafford in a Rams' passing attack that also includes top wideouts Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson to maintain a degree of fantasy relevance in most scoring formats.

Higbee (knee) said Tuesday that he was able to start on-field work at the beginning of May, but there's no rush to get back to full speed during the offseason, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
HIgbee suffered an MCL sprain in the NFC Championship game against the 49ers and was ruled out for the Rams' Super Bowl win. The fact that the tight end has already returned to football activities is a great sign, but it appears like he'll be cautious during the offseason to avoid any potential setbacks.

The Rams placed Higbee (knee) on injured reserve Friday, ruling him out for Sunday's Super Bowl against the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Higbee hasn't been able to practice since suffering an MCL sprain in the NFC Championship Game against San Francisco, with coach Sean McVay conveying pessimism all along. With their long-time starter at tight end ruled out for the big game, L.A. will turn to 26-year-old Kendall Blanton, who caught five of five targets for 57 yards in the Rams' win over San Francisco a couple weeks ago. Blanton played 79 percent of snaps on offense in that game, while third-string tight end Brycen Hopkins was a healthy scratch. The options for depth behind Blanton this Sunday are Hopkins and practice-squad player Kyle Markway.

Higbee (knee) didn't practice Thursday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Higbee hasn't stepped on the practice field since spraining his MCL in the first half of the Rams' win in the NFC Championship Game versus the 49ers back on Jan. 30. With just one session left to make his presence felt in drills this week, he doesn't have much margin for error ahead of a Super Bowl LVI matchup with the Bengals. A limited or inactive Higbee on Sunday would place Kendall Blanton into a regular role at tight end in Los Angeles' offense.

Higbee (knee) was a non-participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since spraining his MCL in the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers on Jan. 30, Higbee has missed all on-field work for the Rams, which so far has included a pair of walkthroughs and one full session. He'll have two more chances to get on the practice field this week, but it may be a stretch for that to happen after coach Sean McVay told Henderson on Monday, "I don't think so," regarding the tight end's chances to do so. If Higbee is limited or can't play in Sunday's Super Bowl versus the Bengals, Kendall Blanton would assumed most of the TE reps for Los Angeles.

When asked Monday whether Higbee (knee) will be able to practice in the coming days, coach Sean McVay replied "I don't think so," Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Higbee sprained his MCL in the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 30 and was listed as a non-participant on the Rams' posted injury report last week. At this stage, the tight end's status for Sunday's Super Bowl against the Bengals is cloudy, more so if Higbee is unable to practice at all in advance of the contest. That said, McVay noted that Higbee is "going to do everything in his power" to be available, with the team planning to "take it a day at a time with Tyler." In Higbee's anticipated absence from practice, Kendall Blanton is in line to handle first-team TE reps.

Higbee (knee) didn't practice Friday, Tyler Dragon of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Higbee absent for a third straight day, the Rams estimate he'd be listed as doubtful if they had a game this Sunday. As is, he'll have another week to prepare for the Super Bowl, with Higbee and Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah (also nursing an MCL sprain) potentially the two biggest injury question marks next week. Backup TE Kendall Blanton caught five passes after Higbee's early departure from the NFC Championship Game, and Blanton could have a significant role again, with coach Sean McVay acknowledging that Higbee is uncertain for the Super Bowl.

Higbee (knee) didn't take part in Thursday's walkthrough, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Higbee is tending to a sprained MCL that knocked him out in the first half of the Rams' victory in the NFC Championship Game this past Sunday against the 49ers. He has no practice reps under his belt yet ahead of a Super Bowl matchup with the Bengals, but with more than a week to go before the contest on Sunday, Feb. 13, he'll have a handful of chances to get some on-field reps. A limited or inactive Higbee would lead to increased significance for reserve tight end Kendall Blanton.

Higbee (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise after Higbee was unable to return to this past Sunday's win in NFC Championship game versus the 49ers due to what coach Sean McVay later revealed to be a sprained MCL. Higbee will have two weeks to put himself in a position to suit up in the Super Bowl against the Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13, but if he's unable to go or is limited third-year pro Kendall Blanton would be the biggest beneficiary at tight end.

Higbee suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's 20-17 win against the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Sean McVay relayed the news, which followed a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network earlier Monday that Higbee doesn't have a significant injury, but his availability for Super Bowl LVI versus the Bengals is to be determined. The Rams are expected to take Higbee's recovery day by day with the hope he'll be healthy enough to play on Sunday, Feb. 13. If he's out or limited, though, Higbee would yield TE duties to Kendall Blanton, who recorded five catches (on five targets) for 57 yards this past Sunday.
