Former Patriots CB Ty Law confirmed Tuesday that he is "pretty much retired."
Law had one more chance to play last year, but he turned it down after working out through the offseason. His retirement will become official once Patriots owner Robert Kraft "blesses" him with a one-day contract in New England. The five-time Pro Bowler and two-time first team All-Pro will walk away at age 37 with 53 career interceptions and three Super Bowl rings. He'll certainly receive Hall of Fame consideration in five years.
