Franklin secured both targets for five yards in the Broncos' 28-19 preseason win over the Saints on Saturday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin's unremarkable finish to preseason is largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of his 2025 outlook, as the Oregon product is set to open the season as the No. 3 receiver. Franklin recorded a pair of touchdown catches among his four grabs in last Saturday's preseason win over the Cardinals, which, when coupled with what was by all accounts an impressive training camp, leaves him poised for a fast start to his second campaign.

Franklin brought in four of five targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos' 27-7 preseason win over the Cardinals on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin shared the team lead in receptions and targets while checking in as the runner-up in receiving yards. However, the second-year wideout was the only Broncos pass catcher to get into the end zone, recording 27- and 16-yard touchdown grabs from Jarrett Stidham in the first and second quarter, respectively. Franklin put together an impressive training camp following an underwhelming 2024 rookie campaign, but the Oregon product could well be poised for an incremental boost in Year 2 while working with college teammate Bo Nix as his quarterback.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton said Friday that Franklin is "having a good camp," Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Payton similarly praised Franklin during mandatory minicamp in June, saying that the second-year wideout looked "extremely explosive." DiLalla notes that Franklin has worked both at the Z receiver and in the slot during training camp, which could factor into his allotted snap count once the regular season begins. Courtland Sutton is locked in as Denver's No. 1 receiver, but behind him, Franklin is among a group vying for position in the pecking order. Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele and rookie third-round pick Pat Bryant are also among those aiming for a prominent role.

Broncos coach Sean Payton said Thursday that Franklin had a good spring, looking "extremely explosive" and "about five pounds heavier," Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin had 2,274 receiving yards and 23 TDs over his final two seasons at Oregon, but he fell to the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft after checking in at just 172 pounds at the combine -- an unheard of weight for a 6-foot-2 wide receiver in the NFL. He's still among the thinnest players at his position, and coming off a low-impact rookie year with 263 yards on 53 targets, but Franklin may nonetheless be part of the competition this summer for Denver's Nos. 2 and 3 WR spots behind top target Courtland Sutton. The competition includes Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele and rookie third-round pick Pat Bryant.

Franklin caught two of three targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie wideout got behind the Buffalo secondary for a 43-yard score on Denver's first possession, but it proved to be the only points the visitors would manage to produce. Franklin came into the NFL with more intrigue than a typical fourth-round pick given that he was reuniting with his college QB, but while Bo Nix thrived in his debut campaign, his top target at Oregon had trouble gaining separation against pro defenders. Sunday's long TD offered a reminder of Franklin's potential, but even if the young WR heads into training camp physically ready for a Year 2 breakout -- he doesn't turn 22 until early February -- target volume could still be hard to come by as the No. 3 or No. 4 option in the passing game.

Franklin finished the 2024 regular season with 28 receptions on 53 targets for 263 yards and two touchdowns.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin's rookie campaign was relatively quiet, as the Oregon product played just 365 offensive snaps across the 16 games he appeared in. Filling the No. 4 receiver role, the 21-year-old played over 50 percent of snaps in a contest just once this season. Franklin's limited role and lack of experience certainly capped his potential this season, but his continued development should be a positive sign for the fourth-round pick. Additionally, quarterback Bo Nix has played well as a rookie and should continue to develop alongside Franklin, his college teammate. With more experience, Franklin could see his role increase in 2025 as a member of Denver's young receiving corps.

Franklin secured one of two targets for minus-1 yard in Saturday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin was a complete non-factor in Saturday's contest, with his one catch and 33 percent snap share counting for his lowest totals in each category since Week 10. The rookie wideout is not being utilized consistently enough to be trusted for fantasy purposes, though he should continue to build upon his chemistry with college teammate Bo Nix and develop a larger role in the Broncos' offense going forward. Nevertheless, Franklin should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 18 matchup against Kansas City.

Franklin caught one of three targets for 25 yards in Thursday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin recorded just two receptions for the fifth straight game, bringing him to 25 catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns on the season. The rookie played 26 of the Broncos' 64 offensive snaps Thursday, behind fellow receivers Courtland Sutton (58), Devaughn Vele (36) and Marvin Mims (30). Franklin will continue to be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes while competing for targets as Denver's No. 4 wideout. Next up for the Broncos is a matchup against the Bengals in Week 17.

Franklin caught two of five targets for nine yards in Sunday's 31-13 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Operating as Denver's No. 3 wide receiver, Franklin played 29 of the Broncos' 63 offensive snaps behind Courtland Sutton (57) and Devaughn Vele (38). Sunday's contest marked the fourth straight game in which the rookie wideout recorded two grabs. With that said, his limited involvement has not led to much statistical production for the Oregon product. Franklin should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.

Franklin caught two of his five targets for 28 yards in Monday's 41-32 win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin has now recorded just two receptions in three straight games, while playing around 42 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps per game in that span. The rookie wideout has played in a secondary role in Denver's offense as he continues to develop in head coach Sean Payton's system. Franklin's chemistry with quarterback Bo Nix from their time at Oregon has helped him to garner steady targets throughout the season, but he isn't seeing enough volume to be trusted for fantasy purposes. The 21-year-old heads into the Broncos' Week 14 bye with a total of 21 catches for 218 yards and two touchdowns through 12 games. The Broncos will return from the bye to host the Colts on Dec. 15.
