Burks caught two of four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Burks worked as Washington's No. 3 receiver throughout much of the second half of the season, ultimately catching just 10 of 22 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in eight games. The 2022 first-round pick is scheduled for unrestricted free agency this offseason.

Burks (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Philadelphia, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Burks showed up Thursday as a non-participant due to an illness, but his return to all activity one day later sets him up to be available to the Commanders offense this weekend. While working with No. 3 QB Josh Johnson last Thursday against the Cowboys, Burks played 91 percent of the snaps but was targeted just twice, hauling in one of them for 11 yards. Burks likely will have a similar role Sunday working alongside top WRs Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel and Johnson under center in place of Marcus Mariota (right hand/quadriceps).

Burks (illness) did not practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Burks wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, an indication that his illness is a new development. Unless he's able to resume practicing in full Friday, it appears that Burks will be assigned an injury designation for Washington's season finale against the Eagles on Sunday, for which third-string quarterback Josh Johnson is trending toward another start.

Burks secured one of two targets for one yard during Thursday's 30-23 loss to the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Burks also attempted one pass on a trick play near the end of the third quarter, but he was sacked. Though Burks has found limited success as a deep threat in Washington, he was unable to get anything going with No. 3 quarterback Josh Johnson under center on Christmas Day. It will be beneficial to Burks' limited fantasy appeal if Marcus Mariota (hand) manages to return in time for Washington's regular-season finale against the Eagles in Week 18.

Burks tallied two catches on five targets for 30 yards Saturday in a loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Burks (45 offensive snaps), Terry McLaurin (45) and Deebo Samuel (44) logged nearly equal workloads, and Burks actually led the Commanders in targets. However, he finished third among the trio in yardage, with most of his production coming on a 24-yard catch on the first play of the third quarter. Of note, starting QB Marcus Mariota -- who was filling in for Jayden Daniels (elbow), who is out for the season -- didn't finish Saturday's contest after suffering a hand injury in the second half, and Josh Johnson had to take over following Mariota's departure. Washington's offense would likely be in Johnson's hands if Mariota has to miss additional time, which would figure to dampen the outlook of the team's passing game as a whole.

Burks didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The 2022 first-round pick from Arkansas has now gone without a catch in each of the Commanders' last two games. Since joining the active roster before the Week 9 loss to the Seahawks, Burks has caught five of 11 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown. He's expected to remain a depth option in Washington's wide-receiver corps in the Week 16 matchup against the Eagles.

Burks failed to reel in his only target in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Burks and the rest of Washington's offense were limited greatly, producing just 215 total yards in the blowout loss. The wide receiver logged 19 snaps on offense, which ranked fourth at his position behind Terry McLaurin (32), Noah Brown (32) and Deebo Samuel (27) in Week 14. Burks will look to get more involved in the team's Week 15 matchup with the Giants on the road.

Burks caught one of four targets for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday night's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
With Terry McLaurin not playing full snaps in his return from a quadriceps injury, Burks played 66 percent of the Commanders' offensive snaps against Denver, even though he was also returning from a broken finger. Burks' four targets were still a distant fourth on the team, but he made his lone catch count with a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone. It was Burks' first touchdown catch since Week 13 of his 2022 rookie season with the Titans. With McLaurin and Deebo Samuel healthy, Burks carries minimal fantasy value.

Burks (finger) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Burks sat out the Commanders' last game Week 11 due to a finger injury that required surgery, but with the benefit of a Week 12 bye, he followed up back-to-back limited practices to open Week 13 prep with a full session Friday, setting him up to suit up this weekend. With top WR Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) back in the lineup and Deebo Samuel also on hand, Burks will be in the mix for snaps and targets behind them along with Jaylin Lane and Chris Moore.

Burks (finger) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Burks' finger injury prevented him from suiting up Week 11, and he's still managing the issue coming out of Washington's bye. He may have to log full practice reps Friday in order to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (knee, IR) have both also retaken the practice field for Washington, meaning Burks could find himself relegated to a depth role even if he's able to return Week 13.
