Fresh off setting a new league record for catches by a tight end in a single season last week, McBride shifted his focus on Sunday to the league lead in receptions for all position players. Arizona's star tight end entered Week 18 in a tie for first place with Rams wideout Puka Nacua, but it was the latter who finished the contest with more receptions and first-place honors. McBride's 126 grabs across 17 starts were still good enough to earn second place, finishing one catch ahead of Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase this regular season. The 25-year-old McBride corrected the red-zone woes that plagued him early in his career (six TDs in first three seasons) with a whopping 11 trips to the end zone in 2025. The breakout fantasy star accomplished all of this while catching passes from two different starting quarterbacks, so expect McBride to remain productive in 2026 whether it is Kyler Murray, Jacoby Brissett or another signal-caller under center for Arizona.

The fourth-year star set the all-time NFL record for receptions by a tight end in a single season with the performance, breezing past the mark of 116 set by Zach Ertz with the Eagles in 2018. McBride has compiled a monster 119-1,174-11 line on 161 targets through 16 games, and unless the Cardinals decide to sit all their key players in Week 18, he'll look to add to those numbers against the Rams.

McBride had four receptions on eight targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 26-19 loss to the Falcons.

McBride had a rough go of things Sunday, recording his lowest reception and yardage totals of the season against Atlanta. His 50 percent catch rate also checked in as the worst mark through 15 starts in 2025. The star tight end still finished in a tie for the team lead in targets (eight) in what turned out to be a down day for most of Arizona's top receiving options. The dud did little to thwart McBride's stellar fantasy campaign (109-1,099-10), and he needs just 48 receiving yards against the Bengals next Sunday to set a new high-water mark for his career in that category.

McBride caught 12 of 13 targets for 134 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 40-20 loss to the Texans.

The 134 yards were a career high for McBride, while the two scores got him to 10 on the season, the first time he's reached double digits. Those milestones paled in comparison to the new NFL records for tight ends he set with the performance -- he's the first TE in history with consecutive 100-reception seasons, and he's caught at least five passes in 16 straight games, breaking the mark of 15 straight held by Travis Kelce. McBride almost certainly isn't done yet in 2025, either. With 105 catches and three games to go on the season, he has Zach Ertz's NFL tight-end record of 116 receptions firmly in his sights. McBride will look to take a step closer to that piece of history in Week 16 against the Falcons.

McBride was held in check -- by his own lofty standards -- in a matchup against a tough defense Sunday. The 25-year-old still finished with decent receiving numbers and extended his streak of catching at least five passes in every game this season. McBride continues to operate as one of the top fantasy tight ends in football, producing a 93-937-8 receiving line through 13 starts. The Texans present another tough matchup on paper next Sunday, but McBride's talent overrides any potential downgrade for Week 15.

McBride brought in eight of nine targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Despite Marvin Harrison's return from a two-game absence due to an appendectomy, McBride remained highly involved as customary and finished the afternoon leading the Cardinals across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The standout tight end also came down with his eighth touchdown grab of the season on a 15-yard grab with just under five minutes remaining in the game, which served as the final points of the day for either squad. McBride has at least eight receptions and 79 yards in four consecutive games and six of the last seven overall, keeping him as an elite option heading into a Week 14 home matchup against the Rams next Sunday.

McBride wasn't able extend his scoring streak to a sixth straight contest, which turned out to be the only blemish on another strong fantasy outing in Week 12. The star tight end utilized the overtime period to tack on a pair of short receptions in order to create a new personal streak of recording nine or more catches, which currently sits at three games. McBride has gone on an absolute tear since Jacoby Brissett took over under center for an injured Kyler Murray (foot) back in Week 6. The unexpected connection of Brissett to McBride has generated 51 receptions for 522 yards and six touchdowns in the six games the duo has started this season. There is little reason to believe that McBride can be contained by the Buccaneers' defense next Sunday.

McBride finished with 10 receptions on 11 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-22 loss to the 49ers.

McBride continued his ridiculous hot streak by hitting pay dirt in his fifth straight contest while also recording his second consecutive 100-yard game. The 25-year-old somehow did not finish as the Cardinals' leading receiver, as that honor went to WR Michael Wilson (15-185-0) in a game during which QB Jacoby Brissett set an NFL regular-season record with 47 completed passes in a single game. McBride has been a fantasy beast in 2025, generating 71 receptions, 718 yards and seven touchdowns for managers across 10 starts. The Colorado State product will look to extend his scoring streak to six games against the Jaguars next Sunday.

McBride turned in his finest performance of the year in the Cardinals' ugliest loss of the season. Most fantasy managers could care less about the game result after the stud tight end went off for his first 100-plus yard game of 2025. McBride continued his newfound prowess in the red zone with QB Jacoby Brissett under center, nabbing his fifth touchdown (sixth overall) in the four games the veteran backup has started. The 25-year-old McBride will look to continue feasting against an injury-riddled 49ers defense next Sunday.

McBride found himself back in the end zone just two weeks after setting a new career high in touchdowns with a multi-score effort against the Packers. The PPR monster had historically struggled in the red zone over the first three years of his career, but he has addressed that deficiency by hitting pay dirt four times in his last three appearances. McBride entered rare air with Monday's stat line, joining current and former legends Travis Kelce and Tony Gonzalez as the only tight ends in NFL history to record at least five catches in 10 consecutive games. The 25-year-old McBride will attempt to carry over his red-hot play into Sunday's division matchup against the Seahawks.
