Smith is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Dolphins with a chest injury, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith exited the first half early to go to the locker room and was not seen on the sideline to begin the second half. He has yet to earn a target from Ian Book, and if he is unable to return it would mark the first time this season he failed to record a catch in any of his 10 games. Marquez Callaway has stepped up as Book's primary option with Smith sidelined.

Smith (shoulder) is listed as active Monday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
After a week in which his practice reps were limited by a shoulder injury, Smith has been deemed able to play through the issue. With Deonte Harris (COVID-19) serving the last of this three-game suspension Monday, Smith, Marquez Callaway, Ty Montgomery, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Kenny Stills, Easop Winston and Kawaan Baker will be the wide receivers available to rookie quarterback Ian Book, who is filling in for Taysom Hill (COVID-19) and Trevor Siemian (COVID-19).

Smith (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Since missing the first five games of the season due to a hamstring issue, Smith has been a regular target of Saints quarterbacks over the last nine contests. Having that said, he's topped out at five catches, eight targets, 64 yards and one TD in any given contest. Smith was limited in practice all week, so he at least has a chance to extend his streak to 10 straight appearances.

Smith (shoulder) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith may be able to play, but between his recent lack of production and the Saints' COVID-19 outbreak, he doesn't hold a ton of fantasy appeal ahead of the Monday night matchup with Miami. Even if his shoulder turns out to be a non-issue, Smith may have to catch passes from third-string quarterback Ian Book.

Smith was listed as a limited participant on Thursday's estimated practice report due to a shoulder injury, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Due to a team-wide COVID-19 outbreak that resulted in nine players landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, New Orleans opted not to hold a traditional practice as it begins Week 16 prep. If the team had held a workout, Smith's reps would have been capped due to the shoulder issue, but the Saints haven't provided any indication that the injury will jeopardize his availability for Monday's game against the Dolphins. Assuming he's cleared to play this week, Smith won't have a rosy fantasy outlook. In addition to potentially being shadowed by three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard, Smith will likely be working with third-string quarterback Ian Book, who is expected to make his NFL debut Monday with both Taysom Hill (illness) and Trevor Siemian (illness) unlikely to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Smith caught two of three targets for 17 yards during Sunday's 9-0 win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Smith watched as Marquez Callaway led the way with six catches on nine targets for 112 yards. While the absence of Deonte Harris (suspension) brought the possibility that Smith could be used more down the field, that hasn't materialized through two weeks. While Harris is set to miss one more game, Smith is not much of a fantasy option entering a Week 16 matchup with Miami.

Smith secured three of three targets for 33 yards during Sunday's 30-9 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Smith saw a normal level of playing time but still matched his season low in targets. With Taysom Hill playing through a hand injury, production may be boom or bust for Smith down the stretch as the offense revolves around rushing abilities of Hill and Alvin Kamara.

Smith caught two of seven targets for 15 yards during Thursday's 27-17 loss to the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Smith and Marquez Callaway again paced Saints wideouts in snaps, but both were outdone by Deonte Harris, who logged just 40 percent of the snaps but caught four of eight targets for 96 yards and a score. However, Smith easily could have had a better stat line if his passes were more catchable -- Taysom Hill (hand) tore a ligament in the middle finder on his throwing hand early in the first quarter and played through it the rest of the game. Considering the dual-threat Hill wasn't the greatest passer to begin with, a throwing-hand injury make his pass catchers even less desirable fantasy assets.

Smith caught four of five targets for 31 yards during Thursday's 31-6 loss to Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Smith led Saints receivers in snaps but his upside was again capped by the limitations of Trevor Siemian. While things may not get much better if New Orleans moves to Taysom Hill at quarterback, Hill may actually give the offense a chance to consistently get into scoring position before garbage time. Next up is a Week 13 home matchup against Dallas.

Smith secured five of eight targets for 64 yards in the Saints' 40-29 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Smith co-led the Saints in receptions and targets in what was another solid albeit unspectacular performance. The speedster has now encouragingly drawn 15 targets over the last two games while working with Trevor Siemian, and both his catch and yardage totals Sunday were season highs. Smith could have a difficult time generating an encore performance next time out, however, as a Week 12 home matchup against the Bills on Thanksgiving night awaits.
