The Cowboys signed Sieg on Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sieg had spent the entirety of his five-year career with the Raiders before getting released earlier in the offseason following the signing of Jacob Bobenmoyer. The 27-year-old will replace Jake McQuaide who signed with the Lions, and with no other long snappers currently on the roster, Sieg will look to lock down the starting role for next season.

Sieg was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, according to Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Sieg is a key piece on special teams for the Raiders, and his absence would be greatly felt in the event that he gets ruled out of any games. Right now, his availability for Sunday's game against Washington should be in question and the subsequent days will be key to determining whether he can play or not.

Sieg signed a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Sieg was an exclusive-rights free agent and was unlikely to go anywhere if the Raiders wanted him back. He should be considered the favorite to open the 2019 campaign as Oakland's primary long snapper.

EDGE Analysis
Sieg should slot in as an immediate replacement for long snapper Andre DePaola (knee), who is out for the season. Oakland will work to acclimate Seig to their special teams playbook as quickly as possible, so the undrafted free agent could see the field as early as Sunday's game against the Broncos.
