McSorley is leading the first-team offense through warmups ahead of Saturday's preseason game against New Orleans, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
QB Lamar Jackson is in uniform but presumably won't play, allowing McSorley to lead a "first-team offense" that will be missing more than half the starters. Both McSorley and Tyler Huntley are sensible DFS plays, as the Ravens are down to two QBs if Jackson is just an observer Saturday night.

General manager Eric DeCosta expects McSorley (knee) and Tyler Huntley to compete for the backup quarterback job this offseason, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
"We think both [McSorley and Huntley] have a legitimate chance to compete for that backup position," DeCosta said. "It doesn't mean that we won't go after a veteran quarterback, but we think both those guys have pretty bright futures, and we see a good competition this year." McSorley saw action in two games for the Ravens in 2020, providing a spark in each. He suffered a minor knee strain back in December, but he's expected to be ready for the tentative start of offseason activities later this year.

Coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that McSorley's knee sprain should take about three weeks of recovery, Daniel Oyefusi of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley is apparently dealing with a minor knee sprain, but his IR placement will require him to miss the rest of the regular season. Meanwhile, Robert Griffin (thigh) is on track to return from IR for the Week 16 matchup against the Giants. Tyler Huntley is expected to be brought up from the practice squad to serve as Lamar Jackson's backup until Griffin returns.

McSorley (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley suffered a minor knee sprain in Monday's 47-42 win over the Browns, and he'll be required to sit out for the rest of the regular season. In the meantime, practice squad quarterback Tyler Huntley should serve as Lamar Jackson's backup until either McSorley or Robert Griffin (hamstring) is activated from IR.

McSorley suffered a minor knee sprain during Sunday's 47-42 win over the Browns, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley went down awkwardly while trying to escape the pocket in the fourth quarter. There was some concern that he could miss significant time, but the second-year quarterback is simply week-to-week. With Robert Griffin (hamstring) already on IR, the Ravens may need to call up Tyler Huntley from the practice squad to serve as Lamar Jackson's backup.

McSorley is believed to have suffered a knee sprain in Monday night's win over the Browns and will undergo an MRI to confirm, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley went down awkwardly trying to run for a first down Monday and was forced to leave the game. The belief is that McSorley's injury is not season-ending, but that won't be known for certain until the results of the MRI are revealed. Baltimore already has Robert Griffin (thigh) on injured reserve, so the team's depth behind Lamar Jackson would be in an untenable situation if McSorley is unavailable for even one game.

McSorley left Monday's game against the Browns due to a knee injury, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley tried to take it himself for a first down late in the fourth quarter, but his knee appeared to buckle and he went down in pain. Luckily for the Ravens, Lamar Jackson trotted out of the locker room almost immediately after and was able to come back into the game.

McSorley is active and should be Baltimore's No. 2 quarterback Tuesday against Dallas with Lamar Jackson also suiting up.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley saw his first game action of the season last week against the Steelers after Robert Griffin (hamstring) went down with injury, but Jackson is back after testing positive for COVID-19 and appears ready to start Tuesday. McSorley is poised to be the Ravens' No. 2 quarterback for at least the next three games with Griffin on injured reserve.

McSorley is expected to serve as the Ravens' No. 2 quarterback Tuesday against the Cowboys with Lamar Jackson (illness) in line to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After testing positive for the coronavirus Thanksgiving Day and sitting out the Ravens' Week 12 loss to the Steelers while completing a 10-day quarantine, Jackson looks poised to return to Baltimore's team facility Sunday. Though Jackson will have to shake off some rust due to the missed time, he'll at least have the benefit of a practice session Sunday and a walk-through Monday, which should keep him sufficiently prepared to reclaim starting duties. McSorley came on late in the Week 12 loss to replace Robert Griffin (hamstring), and with the latter having since landed on injured reserve, the second-year quarterback from Penn State should serve as Jackson's top backup for at least the next three contests.

McSorley will be the Ravens' presumptive starter at quarterback Tuesday against the Cowboys if Lamar Jackson (illness) isn't activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to the contest, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
McSorley currently is the only quarterback on the Ravens' 53-man roster, as Robert Griffin, the team's Week 12 starter, was placed on injured reserve Friday after injuring his hamstring in Wednesday's 19-14 loss to the Steelers. The 2019 sixth-round pick came on in relief of the injured Griffin in the contest, completing two of six attempts for 77 yards and a touchdown while carrying three times for 16 yards. If Jackson continues to test negative for the coronavirus, he'll be eligible to rejoin the roster as soon as Sunday, but McSorley will stay prepared to start in the event Baltimore's top signal-caller can't clear the protocol. The Ravens would presumably promote Tyler Huntley from the practice squad to back up McSorley if Jackson remains out for Week 13.
