Pollard gained 15 rushing yards on five carries and caught three of five targets for 18 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year back put together a 2020 season much like his rookie campaign, as he showed occasional flashes of his upside -- highlighted by his 132 yards from scrimmage and two TDs in Week 15 -- but he mostly saw limited work behind Ezekiel Elliott. Pollard finished the season with 627 total yards (a slight improvement on 2019) and five total touchdowns. With Elliott still under contract and carrying a sizable cap hit, the backfield depth chart isn't likely to change much in Dallas in 2021, limiting Pollard's fantasy appeal to that of insurance policy.

Pollard carried the ball nine times for 12 yards and caught one of two targets for eight yards in Sunday's win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
After his 132-yard, two-TD effort Week 15, Pollard seemed poised to take on a bigger role in the Cowboys backfield, even with Ezekiel Elliott returning to action. Instead, the second-year RB faded back into the woodwork. Pollard likely will see a similar workload again Week 17 against the Giants, and while he's shown his upside he'll be a risky fantasy option.

Pollard is expected to serve as the Cowboys' No. 2 running back Sunday against the Eagles with Ezekiel Elliott (calf) set to play after sitting out the Week 15 win over the 49ers, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Elliott sat out the Week 15 contest, Pollard thrived in his first career start, carrying 12 times for 69 yards and two touchdowns and hauling in six of nine targets for 63 yards. Though Elliott -- who is listed as questionable for the contest -- has averaged a career-worst 3.9 yards per carry this season and presumably isn't 100 percent while he works back from the bruised calf, the massive six-year, $90 million contract extension he signed last week should continue to give him the edge over Pollard for lead duties out of the backfield. That being said, it wouldn't be surprising if Pollard's stellar Week 15 outing earned him a larger portion of the snaps and touches out of the backfield. Over the previous four games both he and Elliott played together, Pollard logged between 32 and 39 percent of the offensive snaps while averaging just over eight touches per contest.

Pollard carried 12 times for 69 yards and two touchdowns while adding six receptions (on nine targets) for 63 yards during Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Pollard stepped into a featured role with Ezekiel Elliott (calf) ruled out and recorded a new career high in touches. He scored a short rushing touchdown early on and was bottled up on the ground for the most part until he broke free for a 40-yard score in the fourth quarter. Additionally, Pollard led the team in targets and receptions as his receiving prowess helped him pile up 132 scrimmage yards. It is unclear if the team plans to hold Elliott out over the final two games, but if so, Pollard will likely be in line for a similar role next Sunday against the Eagles.

Pollard is in line to lead the Cowboys backfield after Ezekiel Elliott was ruled inactive Sunday against the 49ers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
A 2019 fourth-round pick, Pollard has earned double-digit touches in seven of his 28 career contests. In those appearances, he's averaged 13.3 touches for 72.3 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring three touchdowns. Aside from Pollard, the other candidates for touches at running back are Rico Dowdle and Sewo Olonilua.

Pollard carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards in Week 14 against the Bengals. He added two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
Pollard had a near even workload with workhorse Ezekiel Elliott. That didn't translate into much production until late in the game, however, when he found the end zone on a seven-yard pass from Andy Dalton. Elliot was nursing a calf injury leading up to the Week 14 matchup, which may have led to the reduced workload. His availability to practice leading up to the team's Week 15 showdown with the 49ers could hint at Pollard's future workload.

Pollard carried the ball eight times for 22 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Tuesday's 34-17 loss to the Ravens. He also gained 126 yards on four kickoff returns.
EDGE Analysis
While he failed to reach double-digit touches on offense for the third straight contest and the 10th time in 12 games this season, Pollard contributed as a return man, and his 66-yard runback to Baltimore's 28-yard line set up Dallas' first touchdown of the night. As long as Ezekiel Elliott is healthy, however, Pollard's role on offense will remain limited.

Pollard carried the ball four times for 12 yards and caught both his targets for 10 yards in Thursday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Despite another fumble from Ezekiel Elliott, Pollard didn't see much action in the Thanksgiving Day rout, continuing a trend from last week -- after getting at least eight touches in five straight games prior to the Cowboys' bye, Pollard has only 11 touches total in the last two contests. As long as Dallas has a shot at winning their division, Elliot's workload isn't likely to decline, leaving Pollard's usage dependent on game flow rather than his abilities.

Pollard carried the ball five times for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The lead changed hands four times in the fourth quarter, with Pollard's 42-yard TD scamper supplying one of the switches. In addition to scoring for the first time since Week 4, the Cowboys' No. 2 RB also set a new season high for rushing yards, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Thanksgiving clash with Washington.

Pollard carried the ball nine times for 57 yards and caught one of two targets for one yard in Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Ezekiel Elliott was a game-time decision Sunday due to a minor hamstring strain, opening up the possibility of an increased role for Pollard, but Elliott wound up getting 20 touches and his backup saw his usual volume -- Pollard has gotten 8-12 touches in each of the last five games. The second-year back did set a season high in rushing yards against Pittsburgh, but with the Cowboys headed into their bye week, Elliott should be at 100 percent for Week 11's clash with the Vikings, closing the door for now on a boost in Pollard's fantasy value.
