Falcons released TE Tommy Gallarda with an injury settlement. They replaced him on the roster with onetime Chiefs TE Tim Biere. 25-year-old Gallarda played his college ball at Boise State. He was on the bubble.

Falcons placed TE Tommy Gallarda on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season. A second-year undrated free agent, Gallarda has appeared in all nine games this season, but made just one catch. He'll be back to compete for a spot on special teams next July.

Jaguars waived TE Tommy Gallarda. The Jags appear poised to enter the season with Marcedes Lewis, Zach Miller, and Zach Potter as their top three tight ends. An undrafted rookie out of Boise State, Gallarda did not catch a pass during his first preseason.
