Ginn had one of his better games of the season, finishing behind Michael Thomas (134) and Jared Cook (64) in receiving yards as he hit the half-century mark. It should be noted that 29 yards of the final receiving total came on a busted play in the fourth quarter during which Ginn was left open in the confusion caused by Richard Sherman heading to the sideline. That reception aside, Ginn caught three passes for 21 yards -- not an encouraging figure. He remains a highly-volatile option and one who should confidently remain on fantasy benches or the waiver wire outside of deep leagues.

Ginn was unable to bring in his only target of Thursday's 26-18 win over Atlanta.

Sunday marked the second time in his past four games that Ginn was held catchless and his single target was his lowest total since Week 10 of 2017. The veteran target has struggled to find momentum this season. He went off for 101 yards in Week 1, but hasn't reached 50 yards since as tight end Jared Cook and running back Alvin Kamara have served as the most prominent secondary options behind Michael Thomas in the passing game. Sunday doesn't look much rosier with a date against the league's top-ranked pass defense, San Francisco.

It was more of the same for the veteran wideout in Sunday's win, as the deep-threat failed to make an impact, even with a combined 67 points scored. He's failed to eclipse 50 receiving yards since Week 1 and scored just twice all year. Even in favorable matchups, such as Sunday's shootout with Carolina, he's more bust than boom.

Ginn hauled in two of four targets for 14 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 34-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran speedster made good use of his limited opportunities, notching a six-yard scoring grab on one of his two receptions. Ginn has no more than three catches in any game since Week 1, while the touchdown was only his second of the season. He does have seven receptions of at least 20 yards on just 22 total grabs, however, so he carries some big-play upside into a Week 12 matchup against the Panthers.

Ginn recorded one carry for five yards, while failing to bring in any of his three targets in the Saints' 26-9 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

For the second time this season, Ginn posted a donut in the receiving column. He's now gone for under 20 yards receiving in four games this year, accounting for just one score and failing to muster even 50 yards since Week 1's 101-yard outburst. Ginn's value is tied to his deep-ball prowess, though the Saints' gameplan has largely leaned on the running and short-passing game, limiting the speedy receiver's upside.

Ginn secured both of his targets for 42 yards in the Saints' 31-9 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Ginn played a minor role in Drew Brees' return to action, as Michael Thomas and Latavius Murray hauled in 20 of Drew Brees' 34 completions. Ginn will continue to play the big-play downfield role on the majority of weeks, with the occasional spike in receptions depending on matchup and game plan. Ginn will look to up his numbers Week 10 against the vulnerable Falcons secondary following a Week 9 bye.

It was business as usual for Ginn, who continues to do very little with his targets. Once again, he brought in less than half of his looks from Teddy Bridgewater. He makes for a cheap dart throw in daily tournaments but should remain off the radar in redraft leagues, save for deep formats.
