Owen (illness) was waived with a non-football illness by the Saints on Thursday.

Owen signed with New Orleans shortly after he was let go by the Bills as part of the team's final roster cuts at the end of August. The offensive lineman out of Northwest Missouri State is now destined to land on the Saints' reserve/NFI list, once he presumably clears waivers.
