Sims caught four of six targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Sims handled a larger-than-usual role with Terry McLaurin (ankle) inactive, but it was Cam Sims who led the team's wideouts with nine targets. Any fantasy upside for Steven in Week 17 depends on McLaurin missing another game, which won't necessarily happen.

Sims secured one of two targets for 11 yards during Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Sims has collected one reception in three of his past four outings. The 23-year-old's only multi-catch performance in that span, Week 13 against Pittsburgh, yielded 17 yards. Terry McLaurin (12 targets) and Cam Sims (eight) were the wideouts most involved in Washington's passing game against Seattle, while the Kansas product finished tied in a distant third in targets alongside Isaiah Wright. With nearly as many punt returns (21) as receptions (22) this season, Sims has a single touchdown and only one performance of more than 20 receiving yards since Week 2.

Sims caught one of three targets for five yards in Sunday's 23-15 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Cam Sims and Terry McLaurin both played more than 90 percent of snaps, while Steven Sims got 37 percent and Isaiah Wright took 27 percent . None of the bunch had more than two catches or 24 yards, as Alex Smith (calf) and Dwayne Haskins both struggled to get anything going. Washington won the game behind two defensive touchdowns, a formula that probably won't work in Week 15 against Seattle. Expect more of a contribution from the Washington passing offense in that contest, but this Sims isn't likely to be a central figure.

Sims secured four of six targets for 17 yards during Monday's 23-17 win against the Steelers. He also posted a nine-yard punt return.
EDGE Analysis
Sims may have been held under 20 receiving yards for a third consecutive appearance, but his nine-yard third-down catch on Washington's opening drive of the second half helped situation the team for a touchdown to draw within four points. Since returning from a toe injury Week 9, the 23-year-old has posted 2.8 receptions and 17.6 receiving yards per game with one TD over five appearances. Sims' six targets from Monday tie a season high as he heads into a Week 14 matchup against San Francisco.

Sims reeled in his lone target for an eight-yard gain during Thursday's 41-16 win against the Cowboys. He added 15 yards on a pair of punt-return attempts.
EDGE Analysis
Sims secured his first touchdown of the 2020 campaign Week 11 against Cincinnati, but it was a forgettable outing on Thanksgiving for the 23-year-old. He's been back in the rotation for four straight games after sitting out four contests with a toe injury between Weeks 4 and 7. The Kansas product has accumulated 10 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown since his return from IR, as he now sets his sights on a Week 13 matchup against the Steelers' second-ranked pass defense.

Sims caught each of his three targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-9 win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
The touchdown was Sims' first of the season, but he played only 32 percent of offensive snaps, his third straight week below 50 percent since he returned from injured reserve. With Terry McLaurin and Cam Sims working as the starters in recent weeks, the remaining WR snaps have been split between Steven Sims, J.D. McKissic and Isaiah Wright. Things could become even more crowded if Dontrelle Inman (hamstring) makes it back for Thursday's game against Dallas.

Sims corralled five of six targets for 46 receiving yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Sims fumbled on Washington's penultimate drive of the first half, but teammate Cam Sims was able to fall on the loose ball. Terry McLaurin would give away possession three plays later, as Jamie Collins recorded a key strip-recovery that led to a Detroit field goal just before the halftime break. Week 10 marked Sims' second appearance back from a toe injury that cost him four games, with his impact being much greater Sunday compared to his one-catch, four-yard output Week 9 against the Giants. Next, Sims will face a Bengals defense that is tied for the third-most receiving touchdowns allowed to opposing wideouts on the season (13).

WR FA
Sims caught his lone target for a four-yard gain in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
After missing four straight games with a toe injury, Sims returned for Week 9 but played only 30 percent of the snaps on offense. He also had one punt return for 12 yards, while Danny Johnson handled the kick returns. It's possible Sims gets more work Week 10 at Detroit, but we haven't seen him in a significant role since mid-September.

Sims (toe) will be activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The return of Sims couldn't come at a better time for the Washington passing attack considering Dontrelle Inman (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game, and Isaiah Wright has done little with the increased opportunities. Terry McLaurin still looms large as the team's true No. 1 option, but expect Sims to slot in right away, at least in three wide-receiver sets.

Sims (toe) appears likely to return from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants, as he's been a full practice participant throughout the week, Kyle Stackpole of Washington's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Ron Rivera hasn't commented on the situation, but all other signs point to Sims being ready to play. Sims was a starter back in Weeks 1 and 2, but he came off the bench Week 3 and was placed on IR in early October. He could be reinstated to a starting job now that he's healthy, considering Dontrelle Inman (doubtful, hamstring) and Isaiah Wright haven't exactly set the world on fire.
