Chargers agreed to terms with ILB Stephen Cooper on a one-year contract.
He's back for the veteran's minimum. Cooper is 32 years old and the Chargers didn't really want to re-sign him, but he never generated interest on the free agent market. He'll return to San Diego competing for a clear reserve role.

The Dolphins have interest in free agent ILB Stephen Cooper, a source tells the Miami Herald.
It's unclear right now if the Dolphins want to replace Channing Crowder or just promote from within. Cooper is six years older than Crowder and simply isn't as good. They'd be better off turning to Tim Dobbins and A.J. Edds to take Crowder's spot.
