Jets signed No. 13 overall pick DL Sheldon Richardson to a four-year contract. The exact position Richardson will play in the 3-4 is unknown at this point, but he says he lined up "everywhere" in OTAs and minicamp practices. Our best guess is that Muhammad Wilkerson will play left end, Kenrick Ellis will man the nose, and Richardson will slot in on the right side of the Jets' defensive line.

"The only thing I haven't done yet is play rush, so I pretty much have my hand in the dirt." Richardson admits the transition from Mizzou's 4-3 scheme to the Jets' 3-4 isn't easy. "You just have to get used to what the coaches are saying and understanding what they mean and pick it up fast because it's the NFL. You don't have time for mistakes, shorter reps."
