Bills waived or released LB Scott McKillop, OL Mark Asper, Keith Williams, David Snow and James Carmon, TE Kevin Brock, RBs Zach Brown and Johnny White, DE Robert Eddins, DTs Jarron Gilbert and Kellen Heard, DBs Isaiah Green and Nick Saenz and P Shawn Powell. McKillop appeared in all four preseason games, was still experiencing soreness in his surgically-repaired knee as recently as June. He hasn't appeared in a game since 2009. White took the ball just 34 yards on 12 preseason carries.

NFL.com had a transaction posted on its website that McKillop was waived, but the 49ers clarified the error on Friday afternoon. He remains on the roster, competing for backup snaps at inside linebacker and special teams duties.
