Perine rushed eight times for 42 yards and caught three of four targets for 10 yards in Cincinnati's 20-18 loss to the Browns on Sunday.

Perine's eight carries were his fourth-most in a game this season, and the veteran running back wraps up the 2025 campaign with 382 yards and three touchdowns on 84 carries. He added 17 catches for 87 scoreless yards. Perine is under contract through 2026 on a $1.4 million salary. He'll turn 31 years old in September and likely isn't guaranteed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp next summer.

Perine had three carries for five yards and a goal-line touchdown in the Bengals' rout of the Cardinals in Week 17. He also caught a pass for eight yards.

EDGE Analysis

Perine played his lowest share of offensive snaps (31 percent) since Week 4, not counting when he got hurt Week 9 early in the loss to the Bears. Perine has been playing through an ankle injury, so it makes a certain amount of sense that he's playing fewer snaps.

Perine rushed seven times for 25 yards and one touchdown in the Bengals' 45-21 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He added two catches for 16 yards on three targets.

EDGE Analysis

Since coming back from an injury in Week 13, Perine has recorded 41 carries across four games, significantly eating into Chase Brown's workload. Brown, however, wasn't affected much against Miami, scoring a trio of touchdowns Sunday. While Brown is healthy, Perine has minimal fantasy appeal outside of the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Perine (ankle) returned from injury in the Bengals' final offensive series during Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Ravens. He finished the game with 14 carries for 42 yards and one catch for one yard on his only target.

EDGE Analysis

Frequently, players with ankle injuries experience a decent amount of swelling subsequent to suffering the injury, so we'll track Perine's status heading into practice next week. Perine and Chase Brown split carries almost evenly Sunday, though Brown was far more involved in the passing game.

Perine left with a right ankle injury in the fourth quarter Sunday against the Ravens. His return is questionable.

EDGE Analysis

Perine went down in a heap while trying to convert a third-down run. Prior to the injury, he had 10 carries for 34 yards, along with a catch for one yard.

Perine rushed six times for 31 yards and caught his only target for seven yards in Sunday's Week 14 loss to Buffalo. He also returned two kickoffs for 49 yards.

EDGE Analysis

As usual, Chase Brown worked as Cincinnati's clear lead back, but he managed just 23 yards on 12 carries (albeit with a touchdown on the ground and another through the air). Perine was much more efficient with 31 yards on just six carries, though he didn't get into the end zone. Perine has posted a hearty 5.2 YPC on the campaign; however, he's averaged a modest 24.4 rush yards per contest as Brown's backup, so he isn't likely to have much fantasy value unless Brown were to miss time.

Perine rushed 14 times for 39 yards and brought in both targets for 15 yards in the Bengals' 32-14 win over the Ravens on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble.

EDGE Analysis

Perine returned from a two-game absence due to an ankle injury and saw only one fewer carry than backfield mate Chase Brown, but he gained exactly half of the latter's 78 rushing yards. Perine also lost his second fumble of the season at the Ravens' 14-yard line with just over five minutes remaining, but the Bengals were able to regain possession five plays later when they forced the ball from Zay Flowers after a reception. Perine should continue slotting into a relatively solid complementary role moving forward now that he's back to full health.

Perine was a full participant at practice Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Perine was estimated as a full participant for the Bengals' walkthrough practice Monday, and he was able to run full drills Tuesday, keeping him on track to play in Week 13. With rookie sixth-rounder Tahj Brooks already having been ruled out, Perine figures to be the Cincinnati backfield's primary change-of-pace back behind starter Chase Brown on Thanksgiving Day at Baltimore.

Perine has missed each of the Bengals' past two contests after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 9. With Tahj Brooks (concussion) already ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Ravens, Perine appears set to return behind Chase Brown. Perine had been handling a decent chunk of the pass-down and two-minute work for Cincinnati prior to his injury, so his return could be a small hit to Brown's fantasy outlook.

Listed as doubtful heading into Sunday after failing to practice in any fashion this week, Perine will unsurprisingly wind up missing a second straight game. His absence will clear the way for Tahj Brooks to serve as the No. 2 running back behind starter Chase Brown, who should continue to see increased involvement on passing downs sans Perine.
