Giants FB Ryan D'Imperio has retired from football. Still only 26, D'Imperio must not have liked his roster chances despite being the Giants' only healthy fullback. Ben Guidugli has been signed to take his place. It's a sign Henry Hynoski (knee) will be ready for Week 1. D'Imperio was out of the league last season, and was cut by the Chiefs earlier this year.

Chiefs signed FB Ryan D'Imperio. D'Imperio appeared in 12 games for the Vikings in 2011, but he was out of the league last season. The converted linebacker is a roster long shot.
