Wingo was released by the Falcons on Friday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports. Wingo spent the last five months on Atlanta's practice squad and will likely be looking for a similar gig on another team ahead of training camp.

Wingo was signed to Atlanta's practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reports. Wingo has been without a team for the better part of this season having been released by the Bills earlier in the year. Seeing that the regular season has almost come to a close, it would somewhat surprising if the 23-year-old was assigned to the active roster before Atlanta's 2014-15 campaign is halted.

Wingo has been released by the Bills, democratandchronicle.com reports. Wingo -- who played in two games for the Bills last season -- recording just one carry, will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth back.
