The Cowboys have shown interest in free agent DEs Robaire Smith and Kenyon Coleman. Both veteran defenders played under coordinator Rob Ryan in Cleveland. The Cowboys are also chasing Cullen Jenkins, so Smith and Coleman could be fallback options up front.

Free agent DL Robaire Smith is hopeful of re-signing with the Browns. GM Tom Heckert said before the lockout the Browns would consider re-signing Smith if his injured spine checked out, which it has. Smith is just two years removed from an excellent 2009, but coming off injury and entering his age-33 season, he'd be a gamble for a rebuilding team.
