Cooper, who participated in the Bucs' rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis this weekend, is not expected to be signed by the team in the near future, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bucs opted to kick the tires on the 29-year-old this weekend, but it doesn't appear the veteran did enough to warrant an immediate signing. Naturally, that doesn't close the door on a possible return later in the summer, and Cooper notably already has an advocate on the club in former Eagles teammate DeSean Jackson. However, the additions of Jackson, third-round pick Chris Godwin and promising CFL standout Derel Walker in the offseason have added to a crowded and much deeper wideout corps than the team boasted a year ago at this point. Additionally, after being out of the NFL last season, Cooper was unsurprisingly fighting off some rust throughout the three-day mini-camp.

Cooper will have a tryout with the Buccaneers during their rookie camp, Adam Caplan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper hasn't played in the league since the Eagles released him following the 2015 season. At 29, it's tough to gauge how much Cooper has left in the tank as he only recorded 21 receptions for 327 yards and two touchdowns during his final season in Philadelphia.

Cooper was released by the Eagles on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper tallied just 21 catches and 327 receiving yards last season, so the Eagles decided to remove him from the roster in a cost-cutting move. He figures to hook on with a new team at some point, but coming off his sub-par 2015 season, it's unlikely he will play a prominent role in the offense wherever he winds up.

Cooper didn't catch a pass in Sunday's 35-30 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper, whom many believe will be moving on in the offseason as his contract becomes manageable, caught two passes in his final three games of the season. He finished the year with 21 catches for 327 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were the lowest marks since 2012. He was relegated to spot duty all year, and could find himself elsewhere next season.

Cooper didn't see a target in Saturday's 38-24 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper is decidedly an afterthought in the Eagles' offense. With plenty of money invested in the wide receiver, it will be interesting to see if Chip Kelly finds a way to creatively unload Cooper's contract, bites the bullet and releases the wideout, or decides to keep paying his No. 4 wide receiver like a No. 1 wideout. For the time being, Cooper is nothing more than a blocker in Kelly's offense.

Cooper caught two balls for 22 yards in Sunday's 40-17 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper has just 21 catches in 14 games this year, and is averaging 23.4 yards per game. He was strangely productive earlier in the season, but the Eagles' offense has shifted away from him, and the wideout is nothing more than a desperation play in any fantasy league.

Cooper caught three passes for 28 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper nearly hauled in a 44-yarder on the Eagles' first play of the game, but it was ruled incomplete. He had an impact on the game for the second week in a row, and with the release of wide receiver Miles Austin this past week, his role in the offense will remain marginal but existent. He's still an extremely shaky commodity in any fantasy league.

Cooper caught one pass for 14 yards in Sunday's 35-28 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
It was just one catch, but in the context of the game, Cooper made a big play, picking up a first down very late in the fourth quarter. Still, his fantasy value remains extremely limited, and he's only a desperation play in most formats. His 62-yard touchdown catch from earlier this season was a mirage, and he's been low on the hierarchy of quarterback Sam Bradford's targets for quite some time now.

Cooper (toe) is active Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper was limited in practice Wednesday but bounced back to log a full day's work both Thursday and Friday. He'll take the field, but will compete with Nelson Agholor (ankle) for snaps, as the rookie wideout is also active for the contest. Neither can truly be considered a safe play, especially considering Cooper hasn't been targeted in back-to-back weeks.

Cooper (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
With Nelson Agholor (ankle) probable to play for the first time since Week 5, Cooper appears to have missed his chance at earning a key role in the Philadelphia passing game. Cooper hasn't been targeted since Week 6.
