Cardinals placed DT Ricky Lumpkin on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season. Lumpkin made one tackle in one game with Arizona last season.

Cardinals signed DT Ricky Lumpkin off the team's practice squad and waived OL Mike Gibson. Lumpkin, 24, has never appeared in an NFL game. With four defensive linemen on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Lions, he'll add needed depth. Gibson was just signed this past week.
