Giants GM Jerry Reese is open to re-signing free agent G/C Rich Seubert, who was released on Tuesday. The same is true of free agent C Shaun O'Hara. "We always try to leave the doors open for any transactions that have been made with us," Reese said. "We don't try to burn any bridges with anybody, so yes that door is still open. Hopefully both of them will be healthy enough to play at some point and who knows, they could be back here."

The Giants have reportedly informed C/G Rich Seubert of his impending release. He was due to earn $2.25 million this season. The 32-year-old was expected to start the season on the PUP list after major knee surgery in January. It's not clear if the Giants are open to re-signing Seubert at a lower salary.

The 32-year-old just recently began jogging and shouldn't be in the team's plans as a starter this season.
