The United Football League has been put on hold for 30 days and appears to be in danger of going under.
According to reports, two or three of the minor league's five owners don't want to proceed at all. On several occasions, the UFL has been accused of being late with its payments to players and other employees, so we can't say we're enormously surprised. It would be nice to see the NFL take control of the UFL, but that's probably not happening with the current labor situation.
