Chiefs OT Ray Willis has decided to retire. Willis, 30, was signed a day after Tony Ugoh retired from the Chiefs. He was battling with Donald Stephenson and David Mims for swing tackle duties. Willis' career ends with 26 starts, mostly as a right tackle for the Seahawks in 2008 and 2009.

Dolphins signed OT Ray Willis, formerly of the Seahawks. Willis didn't play a down last season thanks a knee injury, but started all 16 games for the Seahawks in 2009. However, he was slated for a backup role before getting hurt last summer, and won't draw any starts this season unless injury ravages Miami's offensive line.

Free agent OT Ray Willis worked out for the Dolphins Sunday. Willis wants to play closer to his Florida home, so the Dolphins would be a nice fit. The Fins are said to be seeking veteran guards because they're not thrilled with 2010 third-rounder John Jerry.

Free agent OT Ray Willis has visited with the Giants. Willis missed all of 2010 with a knee injury after starting all 16 games at right tackle for the Seahawks in 2009. Entering his age-29 season, he'll be a depth signing wherever he ends up.

Free agent OT Ray Willis is expected to sign with a team closer to his home in Florida. A 20-game starter over six years, Willis missed all of last season with a knee injury and isn't considered a good fit for O-Line coach Tom Cable's zone-blocking scheme. He could land a backup job with the Bucs, Dolphins, or Jaguars.
