Shaheed is re-signing with the Seahawks on a three-year, $51 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a huge amount of money relative to Shaheed's limited receiving production after joining Seattle mid-season, but his work in the return game and as a ballcarrier couldn't have been better. He averaged more than 40 receiving yards per game in each of his three-plus seasons with New Orleans, which hints at upside to become Seattle's No. 2 WR with the benefit of a full offseason catching passes from QB Sam Darnold. That said, fellow wideouts Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton still are under contract in Seattle, giving Shaheed decent competition for playing time alongside target hog Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Shaheed said Wednesday that he's "absolutely" interested in re-signing with Seattle, NFL.com's Eric Edholm reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed's snap share and target share dropped after a mid-season trade from New Orleans to Seattle, but he made splash plays for his new team -- both on offense and special teams -- en route to the Super Bowl. He'll now become a free agent in March if he doesn't first re-sign in Seattle, where fellow wideouts Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton (shin) remain under contract.

Shaheed brought in two of five targets for 27 yards, rushed once for minus-5 yards, returned one kickoff for 20 yards and ran back two punts for 16 yards during the Seahawks' 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The speedy Shaheed played his usual multi-faceted role, and he was just inches shy of a much bigger night as Christian Gonzalez managed to knock away a deep pass intended for him down the middle early in the second quarter. Shaheed did manage to contribute gains of 16 and 11 yards on the two catches he recorded, and he made solid complementary contributions on special teams. The fourth-year pro played a relatively modest role in Seattle's air attack after coming over via trade from the Saints midway through the campaign, and it remains to be seen if the Seahawks will be interested in a reunion with the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent.

Shaheed caught one of three targets for 51 yards while rushing for no gain on his only attempt in Sunday's 31-27 win over the Rams in the NFC Championship Game.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed was unable to follow up the touchdown return he registered on the opening play of the divisional round win over the 49ers after the Rams opted to kick touchbacks on five out of six kickoffs Sunday. The versatile receiver still made his mark on the contest when he ripped off a 51-yard gain on his only reception of the playoff victory. Jaxon Smith-Njigba (10-153-1) and Cooper Kupp (4-36-1) provided the volume and scoring that fantasy players were hunting for on Seattle's roster, leaving Shaheed in a volatile boom-or-bust category when looking ahead to Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8.

Shaheed did not record a catch on two targets in Saturday's 41-6 divisional-round win over the 49ers. He added two rushes for 27 yards and two kick returns for 126 yards and a touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed remained a non-factor in Seattle's passing game, though he still made a major impact in the team's blowout win. He returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to set off the route and also chipped in a 30-yard gain on an end around late in the second quarter to help set up an additional score. Shaheed looks likely to remain more in a gadget role in the NFC Championship Game, but he serves in a key role for the Seahawks.

Shaheed caught his lone target for two yards in Saturday's 13-3 win over the 49ers. He returned one kick for 34 yards and two punts for 30 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed cleared concussion protocol in just six days, and he managed to handle a 46 percent snap share in the win. However, Shaheed didn't draw Sam Darnold's attention much. He has just two catches (three targets) for 10 yards over the last three weeks, and he only has recorded more than eight receiving yards just three times through nine games with the Seahawks. It's tough to pinpoint when Shaheed will break off a big play, making him a frustrating fantasy option. His next chance to play will be in the NFC divisional round.

Shaheed (concussion) doesn't have a designation for Saturday's game in San Francisco, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed was forced out in the first quarter of this past Sunday's win at Carolina due to a concussion, but he's made quick work through the protocol for head injuries in the meantime, following up Tuesday's limited walkthrough with back-to-back full sessions. Now the he's confirmed to be available for Week 18, he'll look to build upon the 14-186-0 line on 25 targets that he's managed in eight contests since he joined the Seahawks at the trade deadline.

Shaheed (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed made an early exit from this past Sunday's win at Carolina with a concussion, but his progression from a limited walkthrough Tuesday to all on-field activity one day later may mean he's on the doorstep of clearing the protocol for head injuries. Still, with an NFC West showdown on tap Saturday at San Francisco, he'll need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to have a chance for Week 18 action.

Shaheed (concussion) was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaheed suffered a concussion in the first quarter of Sunday's win over Carolina and is now in the league's five-step protocol. It's at least a promising sign that he was estimated as limited rather than DNP on Tuesday, though Seattle held just a walkthrough. Shaheed will need to clear protocol, including gaining clearance from an independent neurologist, to be eligible to play in Saturday's clash against San Francisco that will determine the No. 1 playoff seed in the NFC. Should Shaheed not be able to play, Cooper Kupp, Jake Bobo and Dareke Young could all see more targets on offense, and Bobo and/or Young would likely take on kick- and punt-return duties.

Coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that it "seems like it's going well" with Shaheed due to the concussion that the wide receiver suffered Sunday at Carolina, but the Seahawks won't know if he can progress enough in the protocol for head injuries to put himself in a position to play until later this week, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks have a short week to prepare for Saturday's NFC West showdown at San Francisco, so Shaheed would seem hard-pressed to make it all the way through the concussion protocol and play Week 18. In any case, how he's listed on Seattle's practice reports Tuesday through Thursday may shed light on his odds to suit up. With Cody White (groin) also banged-up in the wake of Week 17 action, the team currently has just four healthy wide receivers (Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, Jake Bobo and Dareke Young) on the active roster.
