Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the second week in a row, Ollison and Brian Hill will be healthy scratches. The Falcons' backfield remains the domain of Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith, while Kenjon Barner takes on a special teams role.

Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game in Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
A 2019 fifth-round pick, Ollison got a lot of run during the preseason and made the 53-man roster on cut-down day. That said, he'll be part of the squeeze to get to 46 players for Week 1. With Ollison and Brian Hill on the inactive list, the Falcons backfield will be handled by Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith while Kenjon Barner pitches in on special teams.

Ollison ran for 51 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, adding two receptions for 13 yards during Thursday's 31-12 preseason win against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound bulldozer finished tied with Tony Brooks-James for a team-high 180 rushing yards this preseason, and projects to be on the roster bubble for the upcoming Aug. 31 cut-down date. Ollison logged just one reception for three yards during the exhibition slate, but his 3.67 yards per carry rate holds up to those of Ito Smith (2.88) and Brian Hll (3.67), while his powerful running style could prove to be an asset for Atlanta's goal-line offense, if granted the opportunity.

Ollison rushed for 42 yards on 12 attempts, and fumbled once during Thursday's 19-7 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison had double the offensive touches of any other Falcons back, and tied Derrius Guice for most at the position for either squad. He coughed up the rock on Atlanta's second-to-last offensive drive of the night, but teammate Olamide Zaccheaus tracked down Redskins defensive back Ashton Lampkin and stripped the ball out to force a touchback and retain possession for Atlanta. Despite the blunder, Ollison has been impressive throughout preseason play by leading Falcons backs in rushing for three straight games.

Ollison rushed nine times for a game-high 44 yards and failed to catch either of his two targets during Thursday's 22-10 loss to the Jets in Week 2 of preseason.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison got the biggest workload of any Falcons running back and made the most of it, showing why he remains the favorite to secure the third spot on Atlanta's depth chart over Brian Hill. Hill managed just 12 yards on four carries in this one, but Ollison isn't out of the woods yet with two more weeks left in preseason.

Ollison picked up 41 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries during Thursday's 34-27 loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison got his name back in the mix for Atlanta's No. 2 running back job with a strong performance against Miami, taking advantage of a matchup with the NFL's 31st-ranked rush defense from a season ago. To become a more balanced, every-down back he will strive to improve upon his elusiveness and agility, but as currently constructed, the big-bodied Ollison is an interesting fit for Dirk Koetter's offensive scheme. Ito Smith has not received the requisite number of touches this preseason (eight total) to get an updated fantasy appraisal, but Ollison is doing what he can to build a case for himself as the potential No. 2, if not at least the No. 3 guy.

Ollison rushed six times for two yards and brought in one of two targets for three yards in the Falcons' 14-10 preseason loss to the Broncos on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison logged the second-most carries behind Brian Hill, but he did next to nothing with them. While the former Pitt Panther gained four yards on one of his rushes, he netted minus-2 on his other five totes. Ollison is battling Hill, Ito Smith and Kenjon Barner for a backup job behind Devonta Freeman, but his first on-field audition didn't exactly qualify as a ringing endorsement. He'll look to up his production against the Dolphins in next Thursday's exhibition clash.
