Ollison rushed for three yards on his only carry during Thursday's 25-17 win against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year back had been active for just one game this season prior to Thursday night, but with Ito Smith a healthy scratch, Ollison garnered his first carry of 2020. The former Pittsburgh Panther came through with his opportunity, moving the chains on third down with his carry at the 10:30 mark of the second quarter. Ollison was utilized as a short-yardage back last season for the Falcons, gaining six first downs on 22 carries and punching in four TDs. Todd Gurley's arrival in Atlanta has curtailed Ollison's usage near the end zone, as the two-time All-Pro leads the entire NFL with 38 red-zone carries through his first eight games as a Falcon.

Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Lions, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison has suited up in just one game this season and didn't log any offensive snaps. Brian Hill and Ito Smith will continue to operate in a change-of-pace setting behind bell cow Todd Gurley.

Ollison (coach's decision) did not dress with the team during Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison totaled four rushing TDs in his rookie campaign out of Pittsburgh last year, but he has yet to see his first offense touch of 2020. The 24-year-old garnered 22 carries over eight appearances as a rookie, but it's been Brian Hill (25 rush attempts) and Ito Smith (11) who have so far benefited from the backup RB workload behind Todd Gurley. Ollison's only appearance of the season came Week 3 against the Bears, but he's otherwise been a healthy scratch in every game.

Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison was active for the team's Week 3 contest against the Bears, appearing only on special teams. However, he's again the odd man out in the Falcons' backfield. Active in his place will be Todd Gurley, Brian Hill and Ito Smith.

Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Ollison is the odd man out in the Falcons' backfield, as Brian Hill and Ito Smith will back up Todd Gurley in the season opener. He'll hope to get in the lineup Week 2, but if Gurley, Hill and Smith stay healthy, Ollison could remain a healthy scratch.

Ollison was back at practice Monday after missing multiple sessions last week with an undisclosed injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year back finds himself with some work to do in the backup running back competition, as Brian Hill continues to prove himself as a star of training camp. Ollison certainly had some noteworthy practice performances of his own prior to the injury, but his niche role within the Falcons' rushing attack becomes somewhat repetitive if Todd Gurley is able to consistently handle carries near the goal line.

Ollison (undisclosed) has missed back-to-back practices, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A specific reason for Ollison's absence has yet to be identified, but the second-year back's status is one to keep an eye on as training camp progresses. The 23-year-old enjoyed a streak of productive practices last week, but his bid to secure a backup role at running back has been sidelined for the time being.

Ollison was "the most impressive (Falcons) running back" during Wednesday's practice session, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year back not only had a presence in the ground game, but he also made multiple noteworthy plays as a pass catcher. Ollison was virtually obsolete in the passing game with just one catch in eight appearances last year, but he did serve as the team's primary goal-line rusher. His five goal-line carries outpaced Ito Smith by two for the team lead, however, Todd Gurley surely figures to step into a prime red-zone role himself in 2020, as his 12 carries inside the five-yard-line tied Ezekiel Elliott and Sony Michel for ninth most in the NFL last year.

Ollison ran for 50 yards on 22 carries and scored four rushing touchdowns during his rookie season out of Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
The 2019 fifth-round draft choice played more than 20 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps in one game all season, while collecting just 2.8 carries per game across eight appearances. Ollison's 2.3 yards-per-carry average is a discouraging sign, but he was able to come through with four goal-line touchdown runs on the year, proving capable of bowling through defenders in key situations. Looking forward to 2020, he is expected to serve as a backup option behind Devonta Freeman, Ito Smith (concussion), and potentially Brian Hill if he re-signs with Atlanta during free agency.

Ollison registered a three-yard rushing touchdown on his lone carry during Sunday's 24-12 win against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie Ollison continues to be a goal-line vulture, now having accumulated four rushing TDs on just 18 career carries. His 2.3 yards-per-carry clip has been less than optimal, but that low average is largely attributable to Ollison being deployed against stacked boxes as a primary short-yardage option for Atlanta. Ollison may find difficulty breaking into the end zone again in the season finale, with Atlanta taking on a Buccaneers defense that has allowed just eight rushing scores all year to opposing RBs.
