Mahomes may have to work his magic against a tough Washington defensive front next Sunday.

The young phenom could be involved in his third consecutive shootout in a divisional matchup against Justin Herbert and the Chargers on Sunday.

The 25-year-old superstar has never lost in September in his career, but that streak looked to be in jeopardy when Cleveland took a 22-10 lead into halftime. However, Mahomes quickly got to work on the comeback after intermission, and he hit Tyreek Hill for a 75-yard TD on a prototypical one-play drive midway through the fourth quarter.
