Rivera caught three of his five targets for 15 yards in Sunday's Week 2 matchup with the Ravens.

This was a step in the right direction after just one catch on two targets in Week 1. Rivera played 39 snaps to Clive Walford's 20 and he received three more targets in the process. This would suggest that Rivera is still the top option at tight end, but neither of these two have proven to be major fantasy players up to this point.

Meanwhile, Clive Walford was targeted twice in the game, catching one pass for one yard. While things could look up for either player in the coming weeks, until the Raiders involve their tight ends in the offense more, neither Rivera or Walford will be high-percentage fantasy plays.

Rivera caught 58 passes on 101 targets for 534 yards and four touchdowns in 2014. He also fumbled three times, losing one. The second-year tight end was limited to just 13 catches in the Raiders' first six games, but another injury to David Ausberry opened up additional snaps, and Rivera went on to finish second on the team (behind James Jones) in targets, catches and receiving touchdowns. With Ausberry set to become an unrestricted free agent, the door is open for Rivera to enter 2015 as the unquestioned top option at the position for Oakland. He won't have Greg Olson calling the plays any more -- Olson signed on to be the Jaguars' offensive coordinator -- but Rivera seems to have quarterback Derek Carr's trust, and the two should be able to build on the strong rapport they established this season.

Rivera caught one pass on four targets for five yards in Sunday's 26-24 win over the Bills. A week after totaling just 39 yards on 12 targets against Kansas City, Rivera saw a mere four looks against Buffalo, as Derek Carr relied heavily on receivers Kenbrell Thompkins and Andre Holmes. Rivera will continue to make for a high-risk option next week against Denver, but there is some upside here, as he did manage a 6-64-1 line against the Broncos back in Week 10.

Rivera had seven catches on 12 targets for 39 yards Sunday against the Chiefs. Rivera co-led the team in targets with wideout Andre Holmes, but quarterback Derek Carr's lone touchdown pass went to James Jones with 34 seconds left in the game. The rookie quarterback is just too inconsistent for Rivera to be a decent fantasy option, particularly in Week 16 against the Bills, who held Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to 185 yards and two interceptions Sunday.

Rivera caught 7-of-7 targets for a season-high 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-13 win over the 49ers. Rivera had some productive games in the middle of the season, but had struggled in his previous three contests, catching 7-of-15 targets for 69 yards. In Week 15, Rivera will face the Chiefs, who have been stingy against the pass this season.

Rivera caught 1-of-4 targets for eight yards in Thursday's 24-20 win over the Chiefs. Rivera's one reception converted a crucial third down on the game's final drive, but with just four catches for 48 yards over the last two weeks, his performance from Weeks 8-10 looks increasingly fluky. Derek Carr is still spreading the ball around, and the Raiders still have perhaps the least effective passing game in the league.

Rivera caught three passes on five targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Chargers. While it represented a significant step back in terms of production from his previous three games, Rivera did have a season-long 33-yard catch in the first quarter and finished second on the team in receiving yards. Rivera may be the top option in the fantasy wasteland that is Oakland, but he will remain a fringe starter in most 10-12 team leagues.

Rivera caught 6-of-6 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Broncos. While it was a productive performance from Rivera, keep in mind that he was extremely quiet, until he had three catches for 39 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown, on the Raiders' final drive of the game. In fact, the aforementioned score came with only 48 seconds remaining. Even still, fantasy owners that picked up Rivera after last week's two-touchdown outing, are happy with Sunday's results. Next up for him will be the Chargers on the road.

Rivera caught 8-of-11 targets for 38 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-24 loss at Seattle. While he didn't rack up much yardage, he was useful in both standard and PPR formats Sunday. He's actually been productive in back-to-back weeks, catching 15-of-20 targets for 121 yards. He'll face the Broncos in Week 10.
