TE FA
Rivera is listed as inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera is listed behind Lee Smith and Clive Walford on the Oakland depth chart, but few expected the tight end responsible for 32 receptions in 2015 to wind up on the inactive list for the season opener. It appears the Raiders are perfectly content to utilize Lee in a blocking role, and Walford as the primary pass catcher, leaving little room in the offensive scheme for Rivera.

TE FA
Rivera caught three of his six targets for 20 yards in Sunday's loss to the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera led the Raiders in catches at the tight end position, even though he was out-targeted by rookie Clive Walford who got seven looks. The tight end position battle has been on a week-to-week basis since the beginning of the season, and Rivera won't hold much value moving forward.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera caught three of his four targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera was the leading receiver for the Raiders on Sunday in a game where the offense struggled against a very stingy Broncos' defense. The veteran tight end hauled in the team's only touchdown on a double-move in the fourth quarter, which marked his first touchdown catch on the year. Rivera has shared time with rookie Clive Walford from week-to-week, and they both made big contributions on Sunday, as Walford led the team in targets. It's tough to predict who will see more action at tight end each week, which certainly effects his overall value as a fantasy option. The Raiders get a matchup at home against the Packers next Sunday.

TE FA
Rivera caught two of his three targets for 13 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
The tight end situation has been a mess all season, as Rivera has split time with both Clive Walford and Lee Smith. Rivera has been the top option over the last couple of years leading into this season, but the fact that Walford received twice as many targets on Sunday, may suggest that things are quickly changing. Rivera has 24 catches for 199 yards on the season, but he's caught more than three passes in a game just once this year. He's not a worthy fantasy option as this point.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera hauled in both of his targets for a total of 28 yards in Sunday's win over the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera was the leading receiver amongst the three tight ends on Sunday, as Clive Walford and Lee Smith each caught just one pass. Predicting who the top option will be from week-to-week at this position has been next to impossible, which means that it's very unlikely that Rivera will provide much more production than this moving forward. None of the Raiders' tight ends are realistic fantasy options at this point.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera hauled in one of his two targets for 21 yards in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
After hauling in six passes in the Raiders' previous contest, Rivera followed that up with just one catch on Sunday in Detroit. He was out-targeted by rookie tight end Clive Walford, and it seems as if his performance last week against the Vikings was just a one-time thing. Expect the lesser production moving forward, much like Rivera provided on Sunday.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera caught six of his seven targets for 46 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The Raiders' tight end situation has been a crap shoot for much of the year, but Rivera was the clearly the top option on Sunday as he led the team in receptions. Rivera did fumble the ball at one point, but the Raiders were fortunate enough to get it back. The increased workload would typically be a good sign moving forward, but you never know when it comes to Raiders' tight ends. Rivera should continue to see targets, but it's tough to estimate how many from week-to-week. He should be considered a very low-end fantasy option at this point.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera caught two-of-three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera was considered the primary option at tight end when the Raiders began the season, and his three targets were the most amongst the three tight ends on Sunday. However, rookie Clive Walford did catch a 23-yards touchdown, and was targeted twice down the field which would suggest that he'll continue to get looks moving forward. Rivera can't be trusted as a fantasy option at his position, unless Walford were to get hurt.

Mychal Rivera
TE FA
Rivera caught three passes off of three targets for 33 yards in Sunday's loss to Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera's three catches tied a season high. The Raiders are a two-receiver team, with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree seeing a combined 48 percent of targets. Backs Latavius Murray and Marcel Reece follow in the pecking order. Rivera is unlikely to see enough passes to make a consistent fantasy impact.

TE FA
Rivera hauled in two of his three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Rivera is one of three tight ends that saw time on Sunday, along with Lee Smith and Clive Walford, who were also in the mix. Walford didn't catch any passes, but he was targeted deep down the middle during the first quarter. Smith caught both of his targets for 14 yards. Depending on the weekly game flow, all three of these guys will continue to see time on the field. Rivera is a very low-end fantasy option, especially with the Raiders' plethora of options at the wide receiver position.
