Trubisky should get a lot of playing time in Saturday's preseason game against the Bears, Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Bills holding out Josh Allen and other key veterans, Trubisky figures to play at least two or three drives -- and possibly quite a bit more -- in a preseason revenge game for the ages. Davis Webb and Jake Fromm will be the team's other QB options Saturday, with neither posing any real threat to Trubisky's No. 2 standing on the depth chart.

Trubisky has looked polished during the first week-plus of training camp, Dante Lasting of the Bills' official site reports. "Mitch has been a really good addition since he's been here," offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said Monday. "A guy that's played 50-some games. Has seen a lot of football. Standing back at that position, it's different than watching it from the press box, or watching it from the sideline, or anything like that. So, there are things that have happened to him throughout his young career so far that I think can help Josh and assist Josh, and vice-versa."
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky has a 0.0 percent chance of unseating Josh Allen, but he was wisely brought in because the Bills were looking for someone that could run the offense in passable fashion to Allen should the latter ever go down with injury. And Trubisky fits that bill with his size and legs. Given the Bills' high-powered offense and his ability to do some damage with his legs, Trubisky should be toward the top of any cheatsheets once you get to the backup QB section.

Trubisky will sign a one-year deal with the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
In terms of fantasy value, this is a terrible landing spot for managers of Trubisky in dynasty formats, as he's being signed to serve strictly as a backup to Josh Allen, with no chance at a starting job. However, in football terms it's a sound signing, as Trubisky has a similar style of play to Allen and gives a Super Bowl contender viable insurance in case the franchise signal caller suffers an injury. Trubisky is still just 26 years old and has a first-round pedigree, so as far as career development goes, being in the QB room of a high-powered offense with a good coaching staff may aid him toward bigger and better things down the road.

Trubisky completed 19 of 29 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown while rushing three times for 10 yards in the Bears' 21-9 loss to the Saints in the wild-card round.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was not only missing Darnell Mooney (ankle), but Anthony Miller was ejected early in the second half, leaving him light on weapons against one of the better defenses in the league. His performance should've been better, but Javon Wims dropped a touchdown pass in the first quarter and the Saints dominated the time of possession, leaving few offensive possessions to pile up fantasy points. On the season, Trubisky played in 10 games, passing for 2,055 yards along with 16 touchdowns against eight interceptions, and he's set to become an unrestricted free agent. If he finds a starting job, his running ability will make him a quarterback who could have appeal in fantasy leagues that start two QBs.

Trubisky completed 33 of 42 passes for 252 yards and an interception while adding four rushes for 22 yards in Chicago's 35-16 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky threw mostly short passes while being used primarily as a game manager, and the Bears were able to find the end zone only a single time, resulting in a disappointing fantasy performance. On the season, Trubisky played in 10 games, passing for 2,055 yards along with 16 touchdowns against eight interceptions, and once Chicago finishes its playoff run, he's set to be an unrestricted free agent.

Trubisky completed 24 of 35 passes for 265 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while adding 10 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Chicago's 41-17 victory over the Jaguars on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was surprisingly called upon to throw 36 passes in a game the Bears won by 24 points, but between locking in on Jimmy Graham for a pair of touchdown passes while calling his own number at the goal line for a rushing score, the quarterback ended up with a strong fantasy performance. He's accounted for exactly three touchdowns in three of Chicago's last five games, but he'll have a difficult home matchup in Week 17 against the Packers.

Trubisky completed 15 of 21 passes for 202 yards, a touchdown and an interception while adding eight rushes for 34 yards in the Bears' 33-27 victory over the Vikings on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was only needed as a game manager in a contest that Chicago led throughout, leading to the team passing on just a third of its offensive snaps. However, the quarterback had consistent success by getting out of the pocket and either finding open receivers or running when the opportunity presented itself. Despite a favorable Week 16 matchup against the Jaguars, he'll likely be more of a fantasy option in superflex or two-quarterback leagues.

Trubisky completed 24 of 33 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns while adding four rushes for 23 yards in the Bears' 36-7 victory over the Texans on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky threw all three of his touchdown passes in the second quarter, and once the game was out of hand, he settled into game-manager mode, having already provided fantasy managers with a fruitful performance. He's thrown for at least 242 yards in each of his last three games while accounting for seven touchdowns during that span, and with a favorable schedule over the next two weeks, he should be considered a top-20 quarterback option.

Trubisky completed 26 of 34 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown in Chicago's 34-30 loss to the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed three times for six yards and lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky led the Bears to 23 points in the first half, but all three of the team's touchdowns came on the ground. The fourth-year signal-caller didn't fire a touchdown pass until the fourth quarter in a game that the Bears controlled until he lost a crucial fumble in the last two minutes of the contest, which ultimately cost them the game. Should he retain the starting job in the fantasy playoffs, he'll have a trio of favorable matchups, giving him a chance to serve as a top-24 option.

Bears head coach Matt Nagy said Trubisky will start Sunday's game versus the Lions, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nagy didn't make a decision on the Bears' starting quarterback for Week 12 until last Friday, but he got out ahead of it this week and made the call to go with Trubisky over Nick Foles (hip). Foles returned to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, but perhaps he was testing the waters to see how his hip would hold up. In any case, Trubisky will get another turn to direct the offense after completing just 26 of 46 passes for 242 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in last Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
