Mike Wallace caught just two passes for 22 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Falcons.
Wallace faced off with Asante Samuel for much of the afternoon and saw just five targets. He didn't seem to be bothered by the groin issue that landed him on this week's injury report. Look for Wallace to bounce back against the Saints next Monday night. He's a WR3 with upside.

Mike Wallace (groin) is active and will start Sunday's Week 3 game against the Falcons.
No surprise here. Start Wallace as a WR2/3 with confidence. The Dolphins' inactives are QB Pat Devlin, CB Jamar Taylor, CB Dimitri Patterson, LB Josh Kaddu, G Danny Watkins, G/T Dallas Thomas, and NT Paul Soliai.

According to the Miami Herald, Mike Wallace (questionable, groin) "appeared to be moving normally" after Friday's "limited" practice.
We almost wonder if the Dolphins listed Wallace as questionable to spite their Week 3 opponent the Falcons, who list Roddy White and Julio Jones as questionable despite the fact both will play Sunday. Expect Wallace to start.

Mike Wallace (groin) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 3.
Wallace was added to Miami's Thursday participation report with the groin injury, but practiced fully. Practice observers noticed nothing noticeably wrong with Wallace's running gait, so perhaps the Dolphins are trying to play injury report games ahead of Sunday's tilt with the Falcons. Check back Sunday morning, but our money is on "60 Minutes" getting the Week 3 start.

Mike Wallace was added to the Dolphins' Thursday injury report with a groin issue, but practiced in full.
The Dolphins didn't actually practice Thursday, so it's just an approximation. Wallace battled a groin issue in the preseason, but had yet to appear on the injury report this season. He likely just tweaked the injury in Wednesday's session. There's no reason to worry about his Week 3 status.

Mike Wallace caught nine passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 2 win over the Colts, 24-20.
After he ran strictly isolation routes down the sideline in Week 1 versus Joe Haden, Wallace's tree of patterns were noticeably diversified against the Colts. He caught his 18-yard touchdown on a wide receiver screen, and went over the middle with some success. Keep Wallace rolling in Week 3 against Atlanta. If OC Mike Sherman continues to utilize Wallace like this, he's going to offer WR2 production in fantasy football leagues.

Speaking on Thursday, Mike Wallace said, "I need to get the ball. Everybody knows I need to get the ball."
"I am pretty sure I will have more than my share of opportunities to make plays [going forward]," Wallace continued. "60 Minutes" remains sour after his one-catch, 15-yard performance in the opener, but insists there's no friction between he and Ryan Tannehill. Wallace was simply blanketed by Joe Haden, one of the best young shutdown corners in the sport. Wallace has a better matchup this week against the Colts. He checks in as our No. 31 receiver.

Ryan Tannehill said he's not going to "force" the ball to Mike Wallace.
Wallace was furious following his one-catch, 15-yard performance in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Browns. He saw zero targets in the first half, suggesting his role in the gameplan was as a speedy decoy. "I'm going to play the quarterback position the way the coaches install the plays," Tannehill said. "I'm going to go through the reads just like they install it. We're going to try and get him the ball when he's in the play, but we're not going to force him the ball." The squeaky (whiny) wheel often gets greased, especially when that wheel just signed a $60 million contract. Expect Wallace to be the first read on plenty of plays in Week 2.

Mike Wallace now insists he was mad at himself -- not the coaches or Ryan Tannehill -- following Sunday's Week 1 win at Cleveland.
Wallace is trying to save face. He was clearly infuriated by his lack of involvement in the gameplan and one-catch result even though the Dolphins emerged with a win. Wallace has no desire to be a decoy that allows teammates Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson to roam free. Despite this poor attitude, the squeaky wheel often gets greased. OC Mike Sherman said he "could have done a better job" getting Wallace involved and the two have had a conversation. Expect 60 Minutes to get plenty more chances against the Colts Sunday.
