Giants worked out free agent FBs Mike Cox and Tony Fiammetta this week. Cox started seven games for the Falcons last season, while Fiammetta spent 2012 on the reserve/left squad list of the Patriots as he dealt with a concussion. Neither player signed. Former LSU FB Chase Clement got the contract.

Falcons signed FB Mike Cox, formerly of the Chiefs. Cox was in training camp with the Falcons, so he had an edge on the other fullbacks working out in Atlanta Tuesday. He'll take over for Ovie Mughelli (knee) as Michael Turner's lead blocker.
