Michael Turner played on 36-of-75 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Eagles. It was an ideal situation for Turner to lead the running backs in snaps and rack up 24 carries. The Falcons jumped out to a 14-0 lead early on and coasted the rest of the way. Of course, Turner highlighted his painfully low upside by turning those 24 carries into just 58 yards, looking slower than ever in the process. Jacquizz Rodgers played 29 snaps and Jason Snelling saw 17.

Michael Turner rushed 24 times for 58 yards in the Falcons' Week 8 win over the Eagles. Turner caught one pass for six yards and was stuffed on a fistful of carries inside the five-yard line. In other words, it's another typical day for the artist formerly known as "The Burner." Turner is averaging just 59.2 rushing yards per game on the season and has 10 catches. There's no upside here heading into next week's home game against the Cowboys. The only reason Turner got so many carries in this one was because the Falcons took the air out of the ball after grabbing a 24-7 halftime lead.

Michael Turner said he doesn't know if the Falcons have lost confidence in his ability to run the ball. "You would have to ask them that. That's not something they would tell me," a seemingly peeved Turner said. "It's their team, their scheme, their offense. I'm just here to try to help them win." Turner is averaging just 14.0 rushes per game on the season. During his first four years in Atlanta, he averaged 20.1 carries per game. The Falcons are 6-0 as they head into their bye thanks to Matt Ryan and the passing game, not Turner.

Michael Turner rushed 11 times for 33 yards and caught a six-yard pass as the Falcons topped the Raiders in Week 6. The Falcons surprisingly fell behind the Raiders early due to three first-half Matt Ryan interceptions. They were forced to abandon the running game, and Turner never got going. The sell-high window on Turner has likely closed for now because Atlanta has a Week 7 bye. They'll visit Philadelphia for their next game.

Michael Turner rushed 18 times for 67 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for two yards in Week 5. Turner was held in check by Washington's front seven until it got gassed late in the game due to a whopping number of Falcons offensive plays. Identifying a huge hole on a red-zone run, Turner jogged in untouched from 13 yards out for Atlanta's game-winning touchdown. Turner slowed down steadily as last season unfolded, and it's reasonable to expect the same this season, perhaps occurring sooner in his age-30 campaign. Sell Turner high if you can either this week, or after next week's favorable matchup against the Raiders.

Michael Turner rushed 13 times for 103 yards and added three catches for 68 yards and his first career receiving touchdown versus the Panthers in Week 4. Turner did appear to have a bit more life in his legs this week, but this performance speaks volumes about a Panthers defense that raised his corpse from the dead. Turner ran through huge holes, taking advantage of pathetic missed tackles throughout the afternoon. This will go down as the game that exposed Haruki Nakamura as a failure in the last line of defense. Heading into Week 5 versus the Redskins, Turner is on pace for 220 carries, 1,028 rushing yards and 12 total scores. We advise selling high if possible.

Michael Turner rushed 14 times for 80 yards with a touchdown and added two catches for one yard in the Falcons' Week 3 win over the Chargers. Don't be fooled by Turner's 5.7 yards per carry. He had nothing going in the first half and then took advantage of a worn-down Chargers' front seven in the second half. You could have driven a truck through the hole he exploited for a season-long 25-yard gain. The more telling stat is that Jacquizz Rodgers rotated in often on early downs, picking up 10 carries compared to Turner's 14.

Michael Turner is starting Sunday's game against the Chargers, as expected. The Falcons will not punish Turner for his Tuesday morning DUI. He's expected to carry his normal role as the early-down plodder and goal-line back. The Falcons inactives have no surprises: QB Dominique Davis, CB Christopher Owens, RB Antone Smith, OL Joe Hawley, OT Lamar Holmes, DE Jonathan Massaquoi and DE Cliff Matthews.

Michael Turner is expected to start for the Falcons on Sunday against the Chargers despite his recent DUI arrest. Due to it being his first offense, Turner avoided suspension for the matter. Even though, Turner is set to start, he's still a candidate for your fantasy bench. San Diego has been playing some stout run defense in the season's first two weeks, shutting down Darren McFadden and Chris Johnson. Turner has also looked like he's running in slow motion this year.
