Thomas caught two of seven targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 27-13 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas received his highest target total of the season but made just one catch with Drew Brees (ribs) at the helm in the first half. Brees did not play in the second half after picking up an injury, and Thomas couldn't consistently get on the same page as Jameis Winston, who was less than stellar in relief. All in all, it was another disappointing performance from the star wideout, who has totaled just 95 yards on 10 receptions (18 targets) in three games played this season. Next Sunday's matchup with the Falcons will be Thomas' most favorable so far this season, but he could fail to take full advantage if Winston is under center.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
With an uncapped session finally under his belt, Thomas is poised to be the primary pass-catching weapon for the Saints, which translated to 11.6 targets per game last season. He has a great chance to produce this weekend versus a San Francisco defense that has surrendered 156.1 receiving yards per game and 12 touchdowns to wide receivers in nine contests this season.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas has yet to elevate to all activity in practice, which may need to happen for the Saints to unleash him fully for game action. In his first appearance since Week 1 this past Sunday at Tampa Bay, he tallied five catches (on six targets) for 51 yards on a 55-percent share of the snaps on offense. Aside from his health, game flow also may determine how much Thomas can handle on a weekly basis.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayunereports.
EDGE Analysis
In his return this past Sunday for the first time since Week 1, Thomas logged an abnormal 55 percent share of the offensive snaps (40 of 73), but he still hauled in five of six targets for 51 yards in the 38-3 rout of the Buccaneers. For the time being, the Saints may opt to hold Thomas back until he's 100 percent, which could be forecast if he logs a full practice at some point this week. However, his reps were capped Wednesday, so fantasy managers should keep a close eye on him as the weekend approaches.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) caught five of six targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 38-3 win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas finally made his long-awaited return from multiple leg injuries and a team-issued suspension, reclaiming his spot atop the receiving box score. The production was modest due to the combination of Drew Brees spreading the ball around to 12 different receivers and a one-sided affair that let the offense take its foot off the gas in the second half. The key for Thomas owners is that the wideout did not appear to suffer any setbacks to his lower body. The star wideout will look to return to putting up monster numbers in a favorable matchup against the Panthers' middle-of-the-road defense.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) is active for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the first time since the season opener, Thomas is back in the Saints' lineup after six games missed due to first a left ankle injury, and subsequently, a Grade 1 hamstring strain. It'll be interesting to see the breakdown of targets between Thomas and Alvin Kamara, but the former will be facing a Bucs defense that has allowed 7.9 yards per target and six touchdowns to wide receivers (both top 10 toughest in the NFL) in eight contests this season.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) should be able to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, barring a setback during a pregame workout, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report notes that the star wideout, who hasn't suited up since Week 1, "had a good and active week of practice," which sets the stage for Thomas to return to the mix for an NFC South showdown between the 5-2 Saints and 6-2 Buccaneers. Final confirmation of his Week 9 status won't arrive until inactives are announced approximately 90 minutes in advance of the 8:20 p.m. ET contest. While Thomas looks set to give it a go, cautious fantasy managers might want to consider stashing an alternative option from the Saints, Buccaneers or either of the two teams playing Monday (Patriots and Jets) just in case.

Thomas (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable, but he appears on track to play in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, according to Katherine Terrell of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
While he never returned to full practice participation, Thomas did make it through limited sessions Wednesday-Friday without any report of a setback. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on the situation, which could get dicey if the Saints treat Thomas as a game-time decision before their 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. It sounds like it may not come to that, but we don't know for sure just yet.

Thomas (ankle/hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas was a limited practice participant throughout the week, and while we'd ideally like to see at least one full session, he seemingly has a decent shot to make his first game appearance since Week 1. If that happens, Thomas will face one of the top defenses in the league, led by cornerbacks Carlton Davis, Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy-Bunting. An 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff could make things tricky for fantasy managers if Thomas' availability comes down to a game-time decision, something that appears reasonably likely at this point.

EDGE Analysis
Thomas now has logged back-to-back capped practices to begin Week 9 prep, but he also did the same last week before being ruled out for a sixth consecutive game. It stands to wonder if the Saints want him to take the field without limitations before clearing him to return from a Grade 1 hamstring strain and left ankle injury. In any case, clarity could arrive on that front as soon as Friday, when New Orleans will post its final injury report of the week.
