Thomas (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas has carried an ankle injury into December, so he may be receiving some extra treatment on the region, or the Saints could be giving him a maintenance day. Whatever the case, the team will reveal his activity level and cause for any limitations upon the release of Wednesday's practice report.

Thomas secured nine of 11 targets for 105 yards during Sunday's 21-16 win against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas has now posted two nine-catch, 100-plus-yard receiving performances against the Falcons over his past three games appearances. Sandwiched between was a four-catch, 50-yard Week 12 letdown against the Broncos, but there has nevertheless been a revival in recent appearances from the two-time All-Pro. In his first two games back from ankle and hamstring injuries Weeks 9 and 10, Thomas managed only seven combined catches for 78 yards. His fantasy outlook will likely only improve if Drew Brees (ribs) is able to return Week 14 for a matchup against the Eagles. Taysom Hill threw for 232 yards and two scores against the Falcons, but he's still averaging just 18 completions per game with two total pass TDs over three starts.

Thomas (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas followed up back-to-back limited listings on Saints injury reports with all activity to wrap up Week 13 preparations, setting the stage for him to play Sunday. He'll look for his second 100-yard outing of the season against a Falcons defense that has conceded a league-worst 9.5 yards per target to wide receivers this season.

Thomas (ankle) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas' practice reps continue to be impacted by the high-ankle sprain that he suffered in the season opener and sidelined him from Weeks 2 through 8. Still, he's been able to log a substantial snap count for four consecutive games and has been productive with Taysom Hill under center, racking up 13 catches (on 18 targets) for 154 yards over the last two contests. Friday's practice report could pave the way for Thomas to serve in his usual capacity Sunday in Atlanta.

Thomas (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
In two games with Taysom Hill under center, Thomas has gathered in 13 of 18 targets for 154 yards and no touchdowns. Hill has yet to throw a touchdown pass as a professional, but at least Thomas is getting volume with Drew Brees (ribs) on injured reserve. Thomas will look to increase his activity level as the weekend approaches.

Thomas secured four of his six targets for 50 receiving yards during Sunday's 31-3 win against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas consumed 42.9 percent of the team's target share on a low-volume passing day, but that wasn't enough to secure the two-time All-Pro a second consecutive profitable outing. He enjoyed a nine-catch, 104-yard performance last Sunday in a 24-9 win against the Falcons but has otherwise averaged only 42.7 receiving yards per game since his Week 9 return from ankle and hamstring injuries. Thomas will face the Falcons for the second time in three outings Week 13, with Taysom Hill likely slotting in as his quarterback again.

Thomas (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Denver.
EDGE Analysis
The Saints continue to monitor his practice reps after Thomas missed a large chunk of the season with ankle and hamstring injuries. He saw 12 targets on Taysom Hill's 23 pass attempts last week against the Falcons, but it's possible the run-first offense with Hill at quarterback eventually has a negative impact on Thomas' receiving usage.

Thomas (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Saints have placed a cap on Thomas' practice reps this week, likely with maintenance of his left ankle in mind. He'll aim to up his activity level enough to steer clear of an injury designation for Sunday's contest in Denver, whose defense has yielded 12 touchdowns to wide receivers (tied for ninth most) this season.

Thomas (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas missed six games between Weeks 2 and 8 due to a high left ankle sprain, so his activity level Wednesday may have been capped for maintenance reasons. In three contests since he returned to action, he only resembled his usual self this past Sunday against the Falcons, gathering in nine of 12 targets for 104 yards. As long as he ditches his designation in time for a Week 12 matchup with the Raiders, Thomas will have a great chance to repeat the feat against a defense that has given up 8.7 YPT to wide receivers (11th worst in the NFL) this season.

Thomas secured nine of 12 targets for 104 receiving yards during Sunday's 24-9 win against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
At last, invested fantasy GMs have been rewarded with a big game from Thomas. After setting an NFL record with 149 receptions during 2019, he missed six games between Weeks 2 and 8 of this season due to ankle and hamstring injuries, contributing only seven receptions for 78 total yards in Weeks 9 and 10 upon his return. Incredibly, despite all the time missed, he still set an NFL record with his 482nd career reception Sunday -- the most ever for a player within his first five seasons. He dominated the workload against Atlanta, more than doubling the targets of New Orleans' No. 2 option, Emmanuel Sanders. With Taysom Hill in line to be his QB for a second consecutive game, Thomas heads into a Week 12 matchup against the Broncos' 14th-ranked pass defense.
