Michael Crabtree had five receptions for 68 yards in the Niners' Week 4 win over the Eagles on Sunday. Crabtree has the most upside of any 49er receiver not named Vernon, but his foot issue and the fact that he has yet to develop real chemistry with Alex Smith are real concerns. He could be worth a flier in deeper leagues with the hope that John Harbaugh opens up the offense a bit.

Michael Crabtree (foot, probable) was limited in 49ers practice Friday. Crabtree will be active, but has a poor matchup against the Eagles and isn't producing. He's not a fantasy option in standard scoring leagues this week.

Michael Crabtree (foot) was limited in 49ers practice for the second straight day Thursday. Crabtree was limited all last week before being active against the Bengals, and should be headed for a similar fate this week. Going up against Philadelphia's stout pass defense this weekend, Crabtree is Rotoworld's 43rd ranked receiver.

Michael Crabtree (foot) was limited in 49ers practice Wednesday. Crabtree was limited in practice all last week before hauling in three passes for 24 yards on six targets against the Bengals. There's no reason to expect anything better against the Eagles' elite secondary this Sunday.

Michael Crabtree caught three passes for 24 yards in Week 3 against the Bengals. Crabtree started and played in all two-wide sets (it was reported before the game he wouldn't do that), but couldn't capitalize as the No. 2 passing-game option behind Vernon Davis. Fullback Bruce Miller was more productive. Crabtree is bench fodder in fantasy leagues and figures to stay that way indefinitely.

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee suspects that Michael Crabtree will only play 12-15 snaps on Sunday. Fellow 49ers beat writer Matt Maiocco made it clear last night that Crabtree probably won't start, and it now seems obvious that he'll have a very limited role against the Bengals. Crabtree should comfortably be on fantasy benches.

Beat writer Matt Maiocco says Michael Crabtree (foot, probable) may not start in Week 3, and could be worked into the mix as the third-down slot receiver. We trust Maiocco as much as any beat writer, so reports that Crabtree would start appear to be premature. If he can hold up for four quarters and show some production, he'll be worth a look if he has already been dropped.

Michael Crabtree (foot, probable) reportedly "looked crisp in making his cuts" in 49ers practice Friday. He will start against the Bengals on Sunday, and sounds healthier than a week of limited practices would suggest. If he can make a few catches and survive Week 3 without aggravating his foot injury, Crabtree might be worth a look if he's already been cut loose in your league.

Michael Crabtree (foot) is listed as probable for Week 3. Crabtree is expected to start Sunday's matchup with the Bengals, but figures to square off with RCB Leon Hall for the majority of the game. He's not 100 percent and shouldn't be in any fantasy lineups, even in deeper formats.

Michael Crabtree (foot) was limited again in Thursday's practice. Crabtree is expected to be active this week with Braylon Edwards (knee) out of the lineup. We're shying away from all 49ers receivers until one emerges as the top dog.
