Lions re-signed WR Maurice Stovall to a one-year contract. Primarily a special teamer in his first season with the Lions, Stovall caught just one pass for eight yards in 15 games last year. If he makes the roster again this time around, it will be with the same role in mind.

Lions signed WR Maurice Stovall, formerly of the Bucs. Like Rashied Davis, Stovall is a fourth receiver and special teamer. The two veterans will likely battle Derrick Williams for one roster spot with Stefan Logan handling returns as the fifth receiver. We're keeping an eye on rookie Titus Young, who has missed the last two practices with a leg injury.
