The Kansas City Chiefs signed free-agent quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Nelson Spruce on Friday. McGloin was cut by the Texans early last year and never latched on with a team. He's played in just 13 games (all with the Raiders) since 2013, and he'll be the third quarterback behind Patrick Mahomes and Chad Henne. Spruce hasn't recorded a single catch in the NFL and is not a lock to make the final roster.
