Judon won't be brought in to serve in an every-down role, but he should get some rotational work at edge rusher with starters Bradley Chubb and Chop Robinson.

Judon has certainly lost a step at 33 years old and can't be relied upon as an every-down edge player at this stage of his career, but he still may have some pass-rush juice left in a sub-package role.

Judon was traded to the Falcons in August after three seasons with the Patriots, ultimately appearing in all 17 contests with Atlanta. The linebacker was unable to replicate his production from his time in New England though, securing just 5.5 sacks with the Falcons after compiling 32.0 sacks over 38 games with the Patriots. However, Judon did snatch his first career interception in Week 16 versus the Giants, returning it for a touchdown. The 32-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason and he'll likely have many suitors interested in signing him.

Judon recorded four total tackles (all solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday night's 30-24 overtime loss to the Commanders.

Judon has been a key contributor to Atlanta's defensive success in his first season as a Falcon, recording 39 total tackles, including 5.5 sacks, and one pick-six while appearing in all 16 of the team's regular-season games thus far. However, his sack total has decreased substantially in 2024, compared to the 15.5 and 12.5 sacks tallied in his last two full seasons in the NFL. He'll aim to wreak havoc and disrupt Bryce Young when the Panthers visit Atlanta in Week 18.

Judon recorded one of Atlanta's four sacks of Sam Darnold during Sunday's loss. Judon has struggled so far this season, logging just 3.5 sacks in 13 games which is less than his total from last season, where he had 4.0 across just four games appearances.
