EDGE Analysis
Moore suffered a concussion during Friday's preseason matchup with the Cowboys and is currently going through the league's mandated protocol. He was held out of practice Sunday as expected, but still remains without a timetable for a return. Absences from concussions vary in length depending on the player, but we'll likely see his status updated again within the coming few days.

Moore suffered a concussion Friday night versus the Cowboys, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore is in the concussion protocol and will have to pass several tests before being cleared to return to practice. As we all know concussions can be tricky with some players taking days to return while others take weeks so at this point there is no timetable as for when Moore will return to practice.

Moore left Friday's contest against the Cowboys to be evaluated for a concussion.

Moore had to be helped off the field Friday versus the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Moore was injured during a quarterback scramble when he took a blow to the head while sliding. The back of Moore's head also hit the ground. He likely suffered a concussion although no definitive diagnosis has been announced as of yet. Moore is slated to once again be the backup to Ryan Tannehill this season.

Moore completed 10 of 14 passes for 122 yards with a touchdown and interception in Friday's 27-10 preseason victory over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran backup put on an encouraging display in his taste of game action, with his one interception serving as the only exception. Moore didn't appear to see Giants linebacker Jonathan Casillas looming in the middle on a second quarter pass, leading to the easy pick. However, he responded nicely with a rather flukey touchdown pass to Matt Hazel later in the period on a throw that looked like it was actually intended for fellow receiver A.J. Cruz. One of the more reliable backups in the league, Moore figures to get his fair share of work in preseason as he adjusts to new head coach Adam Gase's offensive system.

The Dolphins and Moore agreed to a two-year, $3.5 million contract Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore has logged very few snaps in four seasons as Ryan Tannehill's primary backup, completing 16 of 30 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown versus two interceptions. Expect Moore to serve in a similar capacity during the upcoming deal, barring injury.

Moore only attempted one pass this season as Ryan Tannehill was able to remain upright all season.
EDGE Analysis
Moore is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL. He is likely to either stay in that role with Miami or perhaps sign with a team that could possibly give him the chance to start but in the end will probably return him as insurance in case the starter goes down.

Moore would like to stay with Miami, according to the Miami Herald.
Moore realizes that he could have an opportunity for more playing time elsewhere but is comfortable with being the backup to Ryan Tannehill as long as the team will pay him the going rate for a top backup quarterback. With Miami still approximately $16 million under the salary cap and the organization in win now mode, a deal is likely to be struck.

Moore hasn't taken any snaps with the first team offense this week, according to the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley.
Coach Joe Philbin has made some noise this week about possibly not starting Ryan Tannehill across the pond but if that was true one would have to think that Moore would be getting a few first team snaps. This is more than likely just saber rattling by Philbin.
