Arizona released Longacre on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre landed with the Cardinals on Wednesday, but now must try to find a new team. The 27-year-old can offer a new club some veteran experience and depth at the outside linebacker position. Longacre played for the Rams in the first four years of his career, including appearing in 27 games over the last two seasons and recording 40 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and a forced fumble in that span.

Longacre visited the Ravens this week, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens are looking for veterans to help with their pass rush, as they also have taken a look at Pernell McPhee this week. Longacre has spent the first four seasons of his carer with the Rams, but his last two came on one-year deals. He appeared in 13 games in 2018 but recorded just 17 total tackles and one sack.

Longacre (concussion) has returned to Sunday's game against the Saints, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre was evaluated for a concussion after exiting the Week 9 matchup due to a head injury, but appears to have passed all tests and has returned to the field. He'll return to his role as a rotational pass rusher for the remainder of Sunday's contest.

Longacre is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Saints, Rich Hammond of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre left the field during the first half of Sunday's contest after sustaining a head injury. If the rotational linebacker is unable to return Week 9, one of John Franklin-Myers, Bryce Hager or Ramik Wilson could receive increased defensive snaps.

Longacre (back) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre exited the Rams' win over the Broncos in Week 6 due to back spasms, but appears to have fully recovered from the issue. The linebacker is expected to start against the 49ers on Sunday.

Head coach Sean McVay said Longacre experienced back spasms during Sunday's game against the Broncos, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre exited the game in the first half and didn't return. This situation may very well be minor, but it's concerning nonetheless considering the linebacker underwent back surgery late last season.

Longacre (biceps) played 13 snaps and tallied one sack in Saturday's preseason game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre suffered a biceps injury early in camp after undergoing back surgery in the offseason, but his performance Saturday indicates that he is feeling healthier as the regular season approaches. Longacre is expected to start for the Rams at weakside linebacker.

Longacre (back) is dealing with a biceps injury, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The severity of Longacre's biceps injury has yet to be determined, but given that he is also getting comfortable with a surgically-repaired back, it would not be surprising to see the Rams take it easy with their starting outside linebacker. Longacre has over a month to return to full strength before the regular season begins.

Longacre (back) was spotted doing full scrimmage work Sunday for the first time this year, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Longacre underwent back injury in December after a career-best year that saw him record 5.5 sacks in 14 games. The fourth-year edge rusher's ability to participate in the full team scrimmage is great news for his regular season outlook, though it would not be surprising to see him limited up until that point. If Longacre continues to be monitored, expect Justin Lawler and Trevon Young to mix in with the first-team defense.
