Hasselbeck (ribs/back) is active Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Hasselbeck has been banged up for a number of weeks, but he'll continue to start in place of the injured Andrew Luck (abdomen/kidney). He's struggled producing much for fantasy owners in the last few weeks, and given that he's certainly not recovered from his ailments, a breakout performance against the Dolphins seems like a long shot.

Hasselbeck (back/ribs) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
The 40-year-old quarterback is clearly banged up at this stage of the season, but he was able to practice all week, and will thus continue to tough things out Sunday against a Miami squad that has lost four of five games, most recently having surrendered a total of 61 points in back-to-back loss to the Giants and Chargers.

Hasselbeck (ribs/back) remained limited at practice Thursday, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though the Colts signed fellow QB Stephen Morris off the Eagles' practice squad, the expectation remains that the banged-up Hasselbeck is still on track to start Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Hasselbeck (ribs/back) was limited at practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hasselbeck, who says that his rib issue remains the most painful of his current aches and pains, noted encouragingly Wednesday that was doing much better at this time of the week than he was in advance of his Week 15 start against the Texans. At this stage, the veteran QB is expected to tough things out again Sunday against the Dolphins, with fellow QB Andrew Luck not an option to start the contest.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Tuesday that Hasselbeck (back) will likely start Sunday's game against the Dolphins, WTHR.com's Bob Kravitz reports.
EDGE Analysis
One day after he acknowledged that Hasselbeck is very banged up, Pagano also acknowledged that the team will likely need the 40-year-old to make another start, as Andrew Luck (kidney) is merely hoping to be ready for Week 17. Even in a highly favorable matchup, Hasselbeck will be one of the lesser options at his position, in part because of the slew of nagging injuries.

Coach Chuck Pagano noted Monday that Hasselbeck is "beat up from the feet up," Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team plans to see where Hasselbeck is health-wise Tuesday, when practice resumes this week, but the veteran signal-caller is no lock to play Sunday against the Dolphins, a game in which fellow QB Andrew Luck is not an option to start for the Colts.

Hasselbeck suffered a jaw injury during Sunday's game against the Texans, according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star.
EDGE Analysis
Hasselbeck came into the game with back and rib injuries, and while he left briefly with what was believed to be a head injury, he was allowed to return to the game. Charlie Whitehurst came on briefly for Hasselbeck (the third straight game he's done so) and given all the injury issues, it's certainly possible the Colts could turn to Whitehurst in Week 16 against the Dolphins if Andrew Luck (abdomen/kidney) is still not ready to return.

Hasselbeck left Sunday's game against the Texans with a back injury but returned on the next drive, ESPN.com reports. He finished 17 of 30 for 147 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the 16-10 loss.
EDGE Analysis
Hasselbeck came into the game with back and rib injuries, so it was certainly concerning to see him leave with a similar issue. The Colts can still win the AFC South, though winning out is no longer enough, as the Texans are ahead of them in the standings. Hasselbeck has thrown just two touchdowns in the last three games, and while a Week 16 trip to Miami isn't the hardest of matchups, he's simply not doing enough to warrant much fantasy consideration.

Hasselbeck (back/ribs) is active Sunday against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
With Andrew Luck (abdomen/kidney) still unable to play, Hasselbeck will work through his injuries in a game between the top two teams in the AFC South. On the plus side, Donte Moncrief is active as well after being limited with a toe injury, which will help Hasselbeck's efforts in breaking out after throwing just one touchdown pass in the last two games combined.

Hasselbeck (back/ribs) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, coach Chuck Pagano left little doubt Friday that Hasselbeck will tough it out and start at QB for the Colts on Sunday, noting that the veteran signal-caller "had an excellent day (Thursday). He's going to play really, really good." With Andrew Luck not an option for Week 15, Charlie Whitehurst is slated to back up Hasselbeck on Sunday, with the Colts and Texans both currently at 6-7 and atop the AFC South standings.
